Ok, I have gone back and forth with 3 of the top pizza places to see who truly has the best, including the newest one people are raving about. After eating all 3 several times, La Pizzeria is hands down THE BEST pizza in the area. Crust is thin and very tasty, does not droop when you hold it, tomato sauce has a nice subtle garlic flavor, the sausage and pepperoni are very fresh, they use the right amount of cheese, which also has a fresher flavor than most, and the balance of cheese is perfect. This is a pizza I truly look forward to eating each and every time.
The atmosphere, aroma and staff are definitely the highlight here!I was very disappointed in my over done 2 slices of Eggplant parmigiana with a huge huge portion of spaghetti. For the cost of the dish, I would have preferred more eggplant less pasta !
Had a draft beer while waiting for a takeout pie. Atmosphere is wanting but it looks like a pizzeria form when I was a kid in Astoria, N.Y. Pie was very good for Hilton Head area.
I’m so happy I found La Pizzeria today. The inside looks exactly like every NJ/NY pizzeria I’ve walked into my entire life. Easy to order online and since I live on the Old South Golf Course I’m right around the corner. Great customer service. Everyone is super friendly. The garlic knots are heaven. Your red sauce is NJ/NY perfection. Pizza is great, chicken parmigiana is the best in the LowCountry. My 1 and only complaint was the cannoli. No filling at all in the middle, which is the best part, but it still was delicious. I will definitely be ordering again and again and again.
In town for one night with my son…found this little pizza place near our hotel. I was not expecting much but turned out to be the best pizza I have had in years!! Garlic knots were amazing as well! Wish you had a spot in Charlotte!!
This place is awesome. Great old school vibe. Classic pies and menus. Great service and everything is delicious, even the fountain soda in the proper Coca-Cola glasses! Convenient location as well right off 278, we always stop coming back on the island!
Wow!!! Just wow!! The appetizer, Meatball Neapolitan, was DELICIOUS!! The sauce is amazing. The Steak Calzones was out of this world! Fresh and delicious.
As a Jersey boy turned south Carolinian, it's hard to say any pizza around here is good, but this place is as close as it comes! Garlic knots are amazing, and staff is friendly. Would recommend!
Best Pizza in Bluffton. Small family owned restaurant with a decent beer selection. Every time I go in to pickup my pizza I see the same older cook that looks like he grew up in a NYC Pizzeria.
Unfortunately La Pizzeria doesn't sell slices on the weekends ?, but ultimately it didn't matter b/c their Philly cheesesteak was marvelous! Served with scrumptious fries and authentic, Southern sweet tea almost made me forget the neighboring Marshall's, and Old Navy outlet as well, had both been picked bone dry.
