Washed up….this may have been good at one time but today the staff, facility and food presented as if it were tired and half hearted. Food was less than delicious. Sandwich was halfway filled with meat, salad was missing listed ingredients and beignets tasted terrible. Service was slow. Don’t peek into the kitchen. It looks like a train wreck and if I would have looked at it before I ate, I would t have. We won’t return.

I wanted to come here last year but tried on a Monday without realizing first that they were closed so know that. But we went on a weekend this year and were not disappointed! We did a to-go order which you need to go there and place in person. It was all prepared in a timely manner despite it being a large order. We all ordered different foods and were all surprised at how much food we got so the prices are definitely reasonable. I ordered the Taste of the Bayou which I absolutely would recommend. Especially if you haven’t tried much New Orleans food, this gives you four different things to try.

The food here is great as well as the service. We ordered take away and everything was delicious! The portions are huge for our family but we’re happy to eat leftovers. Fried gator, crawfish, shrimp, oysters and soft shell crab were great. Chicken poboy, crawfish etoufee, and gumbo were also great!

Listen very closely. As a native of New Orleans, I take these restaurants very seriously. With that being said, I like this place a lot. I was delighted to see this on the menu and for good reason; I WANTED A POBOY. We arrived around 4:30 to a line out the door. I don’t care if the line is long, I’m not going for the pump fake! I’m only caring about that taste. They check all the aesthetic boxes perfectly. Beautiful colors, sports decor, New Orleans nostalgia, market feel etc. Menu was huge but I decided to keep it simple and get me a Shrimp POBOY. We got some hush puppies as our starter and they were crispy but doughy and undercooked. We also tried a bisque and weren’t really feeling it. I will say the shrimp on my POBOY were well worth the wait but when that French bread ain’t frenching, it just ain’t the same. We finished with some beignets and they were decent. All in all With the grand buildup I feel like the food didn’t hit the mark for me. BUT THATS JUST ME!!!! Everyone else seemed to enjoy it and that’s ok too. It’s only a couple things holding that extra star. But don’t take my word for it, go experience it yourself. As far as Creole/NOLA cuisine in this part of the state, they win hands down. The service was excellent and that’s all I have to say about that. #WhoDat

Amazing experience! A must for anyone visiting Hilton Head Island. I’ve had a lot of Cajun food in my life and this is some of the best.

Some of the best food we had while visiting HHI! The owner is incredibly personable and friendly. We loved the theme and atmosphere, and again the food was so good!

We went to Kenny B’s on Saturday around 7:00 and placed a to go order of Jean Lafittes Seafood AuGratin. It was delicious!! It was full of shrimp, crawfish and cheesy grits over green fried tomatoes. We could eat this for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Best grits I have ever had. Will definitely be going back!

Wonderful fried seafood-between us we had catfish, shrimp, oysters, & crab cakes. All were perfectly fried. One in our party has celiac disease so needed gluten free. She had the faitdodo & said it was great. Go early-it opens for supper at 4:30 & we arrived to a short line at 4:15. Has outdoor seating & a small indoor dining area.

Got a takeout order and the staff was very friendly. The food was amazing, and the hushpuppies were the best I've ever had. The seafood was fresh and I highly suggest the blackening seasoning. It did take a little long to get the food, but it was hot when we ate it and felt it was worth the wait. The menu is huge making it hard to decide what to order, but if you have multiple days in Hilton head you could easily go back multiple times. The hours are a little weird, so make sure they'll be open when you want to go. Overall, a very unique and delicious option and would definitely go back.

I chose this restaurant for breakfast because I am a huge fan of the new orleans style foods. Just had to check out this little café. Even though I skipped on the beignets todaywhich looked hige and powdered sugary at other tables, the chicory coffee was a treat to start the morning. The artwork and the paraphernalia on the walls and throughout the cafe keep your eyes busy with all the cool stuff! Breakfast was delicious and quite filling with the portions. I chose a little bit of fried ? yummy!
