Possibly because I was maskless (it was a red falg that everyone was masked), or possibly because I had two bags (West Marine and WalMart) with me, but the host encouraged me to take a menu and order 'to go'....twice. I was kinda looking to sit down. I decided to pass on this place.

I have eaten out at Il Carpaccio since it first opened at Pineland Mall in the Purple Onion location for business lunches, business dinners, friend lunches, family lunches, dinners and celebrations. The owners are very nice no matter which location that they are in - and their food is absolutely excellent. Although their current location is not deserving of their pre-eminence, they definitely are very consistent with their food. They obviously saw long before the rest of the world did that Covid was a problem in their native land and have been very protective of their staff as well as us islanders. We come for lunches which are not as fancy but if you look around the restaurant even at its present location, you will see that they have very beautiful and decorative memorabilia... So, take a while and observe...and if you are on a low carb diet, you can obviously find a way to attain the same food. If you like celery in your spaghetti sauce, I suggest you go to Mangiamo's which is the only Italian location that I have ever tried that I had to spit out the spaghetti sauce. Of course, they may have changed their recipe as that was at the Ruan Thai Hut's present location on Main Street.

Stumbled upon this gem of a restaurant!!Food was fabulous!! Prices very reasonable -large portions homemade --hot and very tasty!!Staff all works together and very attentive!!Could eat here every day if I lived here!Don’t pass it up!

Great atmosphere and the quality of food along eotj portion size is right on target with the price. A fabulous wine selection too.

I have been trying to call the restaurant for 4 days to make a reservation for our visit to HH. I am calling at least 3 different times throughout the day. The phone just rings and rings with no one answering. We’ve always enjoyed eating at this restaurant and were hoping to eat here during our upcoming vacation, but maybe not.

Pleasant atmosphere, waiter was top notch , very polite and attentive, for starters calamari with delicious sauce, salmon especial delicious along with the chicken piccata that my husband ordered. Extreme compliments to the chef! Grandpa loves the trout and grandma loves the garlic! Thank you for this fantastic experience! A must experience!

Dinner started out promising, service was attentive. We wanted to order appetizers and were told we needed to order everything at once. We didn’t know what we wanted for dinner yet. Our waiter wouldn’t put in our starters until we ordered our entrees. Our appetizers came and then 3 minutes later our salad and 5 minutes after that our entrees. Everything was rushed and brought out before we could even enjoy the first course. Appetizers were less than mediocre and the Caesar dressing tasted like literally nothing. No flavor what so ever. My husbands fettuccini Alfredo was dry and my moms shrimp was rubbery. My food was good along with my dads. We brought a cake for my aunts birthday and they forgot and we had to ask 4 times for it to be brought out. Along with asking another 3 times for plates and forks. It was time to pay. I wanted to split the check with my parents. 200$ check I left 125$ in cash to be put towards the bill and the rest on the card. He took 125$ as his tip and ran the card for the full 200$. The lady that helped us get it figured out was nice. Today we check the bank statement and the charge was never voided and we now have 3 charges from this place. I called today to speak to someone and they answered the phone and as soon as I said I needed to speak to a manager the man hung up on me and they won’t answer the phone now. I’ll never return. Bad business.

The Salmon was absolutely scrumptious! Best Salmon I’ve ever had! My husband had the Shrimp Scampi and he absolutely loved the shrimp flavor and he is a picky eater. There pasta is very tasteful and made to perfection! I am from PA on vacation here for the first time. I will definitely be back. The staff was courteous and accommodating, especially since we just walked in without a reservation. So worth the wait. Don’t go by others negative reviews, this place has awesome food.

Delicious food, seems to be mostly northern Italian cuisine. A large variety of pizzas. Quiet ambiance and attentive waitstaff. We had the spaghetti with sausage and broccoli rabe in a white wine sauce, which was delicious.

Service slow. We made a reservation on Wednesday. Got there 8 minutes before our reservation time. Not seated until almost 30 minutes later. 3 servers running crazy. Short staffed and busy. Bar tender/manager short tempered. Answered the phone nastily, then wouldn't answer it at all. Food was okay, nothing special. Don't believe we would go back!!!
