Would give a 0 if I could. Girl bartender was very rude and unprofessional. Went in with my mom. We ordered drinks. My mom ordered a vodka and tonic. And then requested a cucumber for her drink. She asked for 1 little slice. She looked at her with a snarky face. She rudely gave her 3 without really acknowledging her. Then we ordered our food. Mine was good. My mom's order was not correct. They were not happy when she requested the toppings she originally ordered for her burger. Then we got the bill and we were charged .50 for extra sauce. I asked what it was and the girl bartender said it was for the cucumber. I said that was ridiculous. When we were walking out she yelled "thank you Karen!" Our name is not Karen......she must have thought the reference was over my head. But it was not. I looked back and she was laughing with the other bartender as if she thought she was hilarious. I own a condo here and this restaurant was on my list for recommendations. I will remove it immediately. Extremely unprofessional and RUDE!
This is place run by hard-working people, for hard-working people. I wouldn't go for the ambience. And it's not gourmet fare. But it's good food, priced fairly, with staff who are in continual motion to satisfy the guests. Oh, and you're a Chicago sports fan, you'll love it here. It's a family run operation, and they care. We visited three times during a 6-day stay for the RBC Heritage golf tournament. We can recommend the patty melt, the hard-to-find Monte Cristo sandwich, the Chicago Dog and the Italian Beef. The bar is also very good. If they're too busy, you could try the Mexican place next door. But I'd wait for a table at Hinchey's!
Went for dinner here and we both ordered the clam chowder appy followed by a crab cake dinner. Both were good; actually the chowder was probably the best we’ve ever had anywhere! Plus the service was prompt and friendly. A great place.
Been coming here for 42 years and never found it until today. Google had another review claiming the best Wings ever. I didn't necessarily believe it, but figured it couldn't be too bad. Turned out to be Best Ever. Had the Garlic Parmesan and the Sweet Chili and both were great. Served with celery and Blue Cheesr. Lots of other good looking menu items and a good choice of beers.
Jodi, our waitress, made this dining experience excellent. The food was great, and she was very helpful and kind.
If you're like me and need somewhere to go when the hotel bar closes, this is the place! Open late. Awesome fun atmosphere, fun and friendly staff, and the topper is the food - It's outstanding. No really - the food is that good. THAT good!
Hinchey’s Chicago Bar and Grill should probably have stayed in Chicago and not ended up in Hilton Head. No seasoning on anything you order. The food is bland and low quality. Very over priced and under delivered. The server was awful. Rude and very short with us. Couldn’t even get a refill. They only had two slow servers for 10 tables. Save your money and go anywhere but here!!! Especially if you like good food.
My husband and I were looking for a quick bite to eat when we stumbled across this bar and grill. The food was delicious and the portions were huge. The staff was friendly and the drinks were strong.

We came for a lunch while our villa was being cleaned. We decided to sit in the bar area at a high top table. The service was quick and we decided to try two different sandwiches and split them. We had the Reuben and the fried Grouper. Bothe were very good but the grouper was the best we have ever had including fresh grouper while in the Bahamas. The portions were generous and the they each came with fries and a small serving of slaw. The price was reasonable and together with tax and tip was under $35. We will definitely return but next time will probably both have the grouper.
