The ice cream was yummy and there was plenty of variety. We had a hard time getting to the counter to order because the place was very busy and hey don’t have people line up to be served. It’s hard to see all the flavors with folks pressed up again the glass all around try to order
Lots of ice cream flavors.. was very crowded, which tells you their ice cream is great and it did not disappoint. Even though it was very crowded, they have a lot of servers taking your order. No lines, just go up to the case and someone would serve you. Thanks for helping to make a tasty and cooler summer afternoon!
My daughter loves this place. She says they have the best cotton candy ice cream. Typical HHI ice cream stand and crazy busy, but we keep going back. $5.49 for a single scoop and almost $10 for a double. Lots of flavors to choose from. Supposedly locally made and just for them.
Dirtiest place I’ve ever been in. Also staff very disrespectful. For a family owned operation, very disappointing.
Been aware of and visiting this place for over 15 years, and not once has it disappointed me. Ice cream is top notch and I can't find anything like it somewhere else. Makes the vacation trip to the island worth it every year. Never had trouble getting to the front to ask for food, and in such a busy spot of the island, it is necessary to be proactive and make it to the front to order. Hope to keep coming here for another 15 years beyond now.
Fun, hopping spot with more flavors that you can count. Price is high, but your on vacation, and an island vacation at that. Huge proportions, and very friendly staff. Even as they were slammed, our server was super personable, fast and efficient. Definately worth a stop. Recommend the kitchen sink or cookie monster!
I had a really unpleasant experience attempting to get ice cream for my daughter with allergies to eggs, nuts and seeds. I called ahead to make sure they had options, and they informed me that I would need to come and look at their allergen list posted on their wall, but assured me there were plenty of choices. I opted for this ice cream shop based on the trip advisor ratings. We showed up to find a very unhelpful staff -- 3 kids who just said we had to look at the list and see what works. Finally they told us that if the allergy was really "contagious" (?!) then it wasn't a good idea to go there because they cross-contaminate with scoops across all tubs. So nothing is safe anyway. If you have any allergies, avoid this place at all costs. We went over to THE ICE CREAM CONE also in Coligny Center and had a billion choices, wonderful service, a color-coded cross-correlated spread sheet for allergies, and a new tub and scoop opened up to prevent cross-contamination. My 5-year old was elated after a crushing disappointment at the Frozen Moo.
We treated ourselves to ice cream after dinner last night. My daughter had the coffee ice cream, which was fantastic. My husband liked his banana cream pie and I did not care for my pistachio. I have to say though... I was very hesitant about getting ice cream by the looks of the place (but I mean how can you tell a five year old no to ice cream?!) It looked like every surface needed to be wiped down and the floors were sticky (which I can understand with all of the kids getting ice cream). But it was just a hot mess behind the counter...fudge and caramel sauce spilling over the sides and sprinkles everywhere. I can only hope that maybe they are so busy they have to wait to clean at the end of the night. The kids working behind the counter were very nice but I think they need some adult supervision to make sure they have a better system in place for serving guests and still cleaning. It just made me want to go to publix and buy my own waffle cones and tub of coffee ice cream...save some $$$
So many great flavors! The employees are friendly and helpful. They offer a good amount of samples (especially with all the options) they allow half scoops which is so helpful! You aren’t rushed or herded in a like. Love this place!
