I’ve had a lot of French food in France and in Nyc and this place was just amazing. My kids love French food as well and they agreed. We are soo grateful we found this place on google! The service was spectacular, the decor beautiful and the food was MIND blowingly delicious. I may come back to HH just to eat here!

I’ve had infinitely better food from food trucks!Worst meal that I have ever had considering it cost 300$+! My mussels were cold and not only less than any resto serves, about 10, I have ever had to anywhere in the world, they had very few actual meat! I went for my birthday and was more than disappointed than I have ever been! My father said his Sole was the worst he ever had as well! I would never recommend this place to anyone! The best part were the cocktails! Go to Charlies L’toile Vert if you want a great meal on Hilton Head!

Food is awesome! We ordered Escargot, Foie Gras, Ostrich, etc. Very authentic French. Service, vibes and interior design is great too. Highly recommended!

A perfect spot for a romantic dinner. The meal was delicious and the service was top notch. The coffee with creme was the perfect way to wrap up a big meal. Don’t miss this restaurant if you want a memorable meal in Hilton Head!

I searched for romantic restaurants in Hilton Head and when I read the reviews, we knew we had to try it. We had planned to eat a bit lighter than usual, so we only had entrees. My wife had the steak frites and I the beef bourguignon. They were both mouth watering. The steak was cooked perfectly and served with thin and crispy frites that she didn't even feel the need to cover with ketchup which is the usual way she eats fries. my beef was heavenly. No knife needed it pulled apart easily with a fork and the sauce was exquisite. The ambiance was perfect and the service attentive. The manager came by the table several times to ask if everything was as we liked and I've never seen a manager work as hard as the waitstaff. He told us they have been open for just under two years and that it used to be a sports bar. If so, they have erased every sign of its previous life and it feels serene and romantic. I highly recommend this place.

Wonderful place from the time you walk in the door to the time you say goodnight. Excellent choice of wine, creative and delicious menu and such a great atmosphere. Waygu Steak Frites with a pink peppercorn sauce and Salmon with a potato and leek croquette were the selections tonight. So, so satisfying!!!

My wife and I dined at Chez George three times during our recent visit to Hilton Head. From the opening greeting from Piero (father of George) before our initial experience—a Sunday brunch—through to the final goodbye after our second dinner, we enjoyed ourselves immensely owing to the wonderful food and attentive, knowledgeable, and cheerful service. Thank you, Piero, Christian, Diego, Patrick, and Siria!!

My date made the reservation here. He has been many times to Chez George. Let's start with my French onion soup. Yummy! I was told they use oxtail... that must be the secret ingredient. I tried my date's mussels and wished I had gotten my own. I wanted more than a taste. My main meal was the soft shell crabs. I love them fixed any way I can get them but Chez George was the best I think I have ever had. I tried my date's steak, cooked perfectly rare for him, and omg if you are a steak lover I highly recommend. We finished up by sharing dessert I'm not sure what it was called but it was 3 different cubes of chocolate. I devoured almost all of it. Needless to say, I highly recommend the food. The atmosphere was lovely and our waiter was perfect. I'll be back soon.

Amazing service, atmosphere, and food. Best spot on the island. Slightly pricey but you get what you pay for!

Do you remember before the COVID-19 pandemic, when you could go out and have a great meal with fantastic service? Well, reserve a spot soon at Chez Georges Bistro & Bar. Simply superb is not even a fair description, maybe, one of the best meals we have ever had. We were greeted in a most friendly manner as we sat at one of the bar's high-top tables by at least four different people, who were just sincerely happy to see us. The bar stood out because they had a "Mixologist" that created drinks for the guests. They also had a Sommelier, a wine steward aptly able to match your meal to wine. And the food. Not only was it 'beautiful,' it was very flavorful. It started with the raw salmon appetizer, which was most artful and delicious. We both opted for steaks on the menu last night, and tender and flavorful and cooked precisely to order was just right. Ending dinner led us to a very traditional crème brûlée, which was most flavorful and a fruit compost that tasted even better when added to the dessert. Again, we were surprised by this restaurant and bar. We will keep going back because it was that good and memorable.
