We have had great meals all week on the Island, but this was the best. Our waiter, Thad was attentive and helpful. The food was outstanding. Make sure you leave room for dessert!
Food and service were great as usual. New waitress for us, Bree, was on top of everything. We enjoyed four different entrees, all were delicious and prepared as we asked. A new dessert, chocolate layer cake with orange zest and espresso with buttercreme frosting was excellent.
I love coming to Charlie's for lunch... the prices are very reasonable, the food is wonderful and the service is friendly and quick! Can't go wrong!
Food just sub par. Lots of potential, just not executed well. Filet was highlight of meal. Fish over cooked, drowning in sauce. Salads looked mass produce and soggy. Bread basic white bread from package. Wine list solid and decent prices. Overall, Iâd skip.

We were looking forward to dining here based on all the great reviews and it didnât disappoint. We ordered the escargot to start with and the warm complimentary bread. Then we had the scallops and monkfish as our entrees. All were excellent. Cooked perfect. We were so full but squeezed in some caramel cake with a scoop of homemade vanilla gelato. So glad we did because it was delicious. As for the service, we had Jody and she is a superstar. So sweet and attentive. She made the experience truly exceptional.
We have been going to Charlieâs since it was a tiny âhallwayâ 25 years ago. Always a great dinner with great service. We look forward to it every year!
This is the best restaurant on HILTON HEAD
Our server was outstanding. She was gracious and informative. Our meals were far beyond ordinary. My wife had a brook trout with a brilliant pesto-pecan sauce and I had scallops with a butter red bell pepper sauce. So far LâEtoile Verte raises the bar with each visit.
