Absolutely delicious food. The server was attentive to our needs, stopped by the table multiple times to ask if we needed anything & to make we were satisfied with our food. The salsa tasted like it was made from fresh veggies, it tasted awesome! Our food arrived promptly, was piping hot & had terrific flavor. I had the Tres Maria (chicken, cheese & beef enchiladas) with rice & salad. My goodness, each bite was incredibly delicious. The verde sauce maybe the best that I’ve ever ate.
Food was pretty good..... Our waiter was great.Signed,Honest Traveler
Good Mexican food and lots of choices. Chips and salsa were good. Salsa was fresh and chunky. Fajitas with steak, chicken and Shrimp were good although just a bit dry and just a bit more flavor would be nice. Prices were reasonable. Service was okay.
This was the surprise of our trip. And in a really good way. The service was a little slow, but the staff was working hard. All of our food was flavorful and large portions. The pricing is reasonable. The decor is okay (a little cheesy). At the end of the day, it is all about the food and it delivers. Highly recommend.
Pretty good! If you’re looking for your Mexican food fix on the island with all your familiar atmosphere and menu from back home, this does the trick! Food was great, drinks were good but the service was a bit slow. Especially considering the place only had about 4 other tables dining in.
I would say OKAY for food. But oveeall experience is not good.NOT SURE HOW THEY GOT GOOD REVIEWS. It's just an average mexican restaurant. Not even good.Have ordered a grilled seafood "Arroz Con Marisocs"- and all seafood are boiled (and too much boiled) while it supposed to be grill. When I asked why is it, our server says - "this is the way it is."So clearly the chef & server doesn't know, what's the definition of "Grill".AND above all, they just charged 15% gratuity as default while we are just 2(+1 kid) people. When checked, our server said "this is the way it is".Seriously!Been to other restaurants here in Hiltonhead Island, never been charged default gratuity. So would never recommend this place to anyone.
This was our first visit to Blue Laguna - we were very pleased. We very much enjoy Mexican food, and we were not disappointed. Everyone who cared for us were pleasant. Service was efficient, and typical of Mexican places, was quick. I had an enchalada trio - excellent. We got a flan to go, which we enjoyed back at the condo. We will definitely return on our next visit to HHI.
To be honest food sucked and the waitress was mad rude and had THE worst attitude
When I visited Hilton Head Island I visited several restaurants from little holes in the walls to big establishments like Poseidon. Out of every place I went none did I like and felt as fulfilled as when I went to Blue Laguna. I had a horchata, the beef, and the chicken chimichanga and all of them were delicious. I had never had a horchata before but now I’m hooked, and out of the two chimichangas the beef was my favorite but they both were outstanding. Again this was my favorite food my hole trip to Hilton Head Island and Savana GA and it was half the price of a fancier “nicer” restaurant like Poseidon. Overall 10/10 great food, great prices, great experience! By the way the picture below is of a giant burrito another person in my party got and it too was top notch.
Best Mexican food on the island. So good that we go every Wednesday nite that we are in town. Service is quick and food is served hot. Not expensive, either. They make their salsa daily and it’s excellent. Also great sangria. Just can’t say enough good things about Blue Laguna.
