Everything about the dinner was great. Our server was very knowledgeable and guided us to some delicious choices. The setting outside was beautiful and made the evening even more enjoyable. We would definitely visit again the next time we are in town.

Pros: Great Atmosphere with live music and real beach vibe. Cons: food was Meh. Typical beach restaurant that serves quantity over quality. Food was bland. Service was inattentive, I had to go to the bar to get a drink. There are so many other great options on HHI. Thereâs no reason to go back to Black Marlin.
Food was not good, restaurant seemed dirty and loud. Our server was very nice and helpful. Experience overall was poor, we wonât go back.
First visit to The Black Marlin. Sat a few minutes before our reservation time. Zane took great care of us. My 14-year old son even said âI think that was the best waiter weâve ever hadâ. He was very attentive, always filling our beverages without asking. My salad never came out and I just asked that he make sure it didnât get added to the bill. He asked if I still wanted it brought out (after my dinner had already arrived) at no charge. I told him I wasnât sure if I would be able to eat it but I certainly appreciated his willingness to do this. Just felt he did a great job and the food was all really good. We would definitely go back again.
Really lovely setting on the water under the live oaks on the patio. Food well-prepared, but a little disappointed to find canned fruit in the fruit salsa.

We absolutely loved eating here! The staff was super friendly, food was delicious and the outdoor seating area was shaded/covered which made it very pleasant! We originally reserved a table inside, but the super friendly hostess didnât even bat an eye when we asked to be seated outside instead. My daughter isnât a seafood eater and had chicken instead. She gobbled it up, and we loved our seafood entrees too! Wouldnât change a thing!
Our waiter was phenomenal, the food was excellent and it was timely. It was our first time and we will definitely be back!

The server was nice but overwhelmed and busy. Only checked on drink reorders once, so a missed opportunity. The food was good but sitting outside led to little air flow. I would consider going back but 50/50.
