Bad Biscuit is a (slightly) hidden gem. Delicious, breakfast biscuits with eggs and breakfastMeat of your choice plus other souther breakfast staples. We sampled the bacon, egg and cheese on biscuit with a hash brown cake and side of sausage gravy - all delicious. It was busy, lots of hungry folks and one register but all in all, it didn’t take that long. Worth the small wait! I saw they also had take and bake biscuits for the road - may have to hit that up next time! Make sure to make the stop!

This was our last stop in HHI before heading home to NC, and moving forward this will now be our first stop when visiting HHI every time! My wife and I had the Savage Skillet and an order of the Cinnamon Biscuits w/Caramel and Rum Sauce…Delish!! Highly recommend! The biscuits were “bad” in the best way possible; fluffy, warm, and incredibly tasty! The experience, the food, the vibe of this joint was fantastic!

We ate here twice on a trip to the area and it was delicious! Best biscuits and gravy I’ve ever had. Large portions. Friendly staff.

Bad Biscuit is the bomb if you want a real honest to goodness amped up biscuit! The food is phenomenal there is no doubt about it. The shrimp and grits are absolutely delicious. These are definitely cat head biscuits so bring your appetite. If you leave hungry it is your own darn fault!!The restaurant is super clean and very inviting. The owner and staff are exceptional. They are also very knowledgeable about the area and gave us some great tips to enjoy our vacation.

The food is delicious and the staff is friendly and helpful. THANK you and God Bless

We heard about this place and thought we would try it out. It is as good as everyone said it would be. Wonderful atmosphere, great service and yummy food. We will definitely be back.

I read the reviews and decided to try this local dining place for breakfast while waiting for our tennis team to start their afternoon match. I ordered the Hot Chicken Biscuit, Mushroom Cobbler w/biscuit, a side of scrambled eggs, and a coffee. Everything was delicious! I don't like regular creamer, my only suggestion is for them to also add and offer Nut or Soy creamer or milk. The inside is in the front and as you walk towards the back the open seating arrangement is nice. And I enjoyed the pictures too!I hope I remember the names correctly, Trisha (took my order and helped me to get what I wanted right) and Franklin (served my food to me at my table) were both nice.

TL;DR, Get the Gravy Train, thank me later.Friends. We came here because the name is cute and it had a good rating. We thought it would just be good biscuits and gravy. We were wrong. There are not words to describe how much better these are than “good.”We ordered the Gravy Train because “mushroom chowder” was too intriguing to pass up. What we got was a breakfast that reduced us to closing our eyes with every bite, eating with our hands like animals and drinking gravy out of the cups like shots. There is apparently champagne in the mushroom gravy(I asked), so it’s fitting.First of all, these biscuits defy gravity. They are 4-5 inches tall. They are so fluffy, I could die.I have never seen the like. And the gravy. Well, some of the repeatable things said about the gravy were : “I could bathe in this” and “This is the best thing I’ve ever put in my mouth.” When we ran out of biscuit to scoop with, we drank the gravy out of the cups. The space is also super cool with funky artwork and I’d have more to say about it if I hadn’t been so busy trying to find a way to marry a biscuit. If they had lattes, I would just move in.

I will be honest, I was really excited to try out Bad Biscuit on my vacation to Hilton Head. However, I was disappointed, despite the great ratings. First and foremost, there is far too much biscuit in my opinion. I ordered the chicken hot shot and could barely taste the chicken, pimento cheese, and hot honey due to the biscuit drowning out the ingredients. I ended up taking the top biscuit off so I could taste the other ingredients. The biscuit bites were not good, very hard, tough and flavorless. We added an egg and cheese to the BBBLT as there would have been nearly no filling compared to the biscuit size. 2 chicken hot shots, a bad Benny, BBBLT, and biscuit bites +4 drinks was $60, which is slightly over priced for what you are getting. $3.00 alone for bottled coke. Additionally, in order to get to the seating area you had to walk through their kitchen, which was in disarray. Overall, I would skip this location if you’re a local or visiting. It’s slightly overpriced and the food is lackluster.

Too much biscuit for the fried chicken portion. Fried chicken was average tasting. I do not believe we will go back. I am not sure why all the great reviews. Chef Lorenzo
