The atmosphere is wonderful. If you are lucky enough to have Cookie as your waitress, you will not only have amazing service, but you will feel like you have gained a friend! The bbq chicken sandwich is so good. Shrimp salad will not disappoint! Pimento cheese is delicious. Do NOT leave without trying the banana pudding!
Hands down, the best meal of the week. I had lowcountry boil. They don’t include corn, but otherwise, it’s as you would expect. I wish they would peel the shrimp first, though. Others in my group had swordfish, seafood purloo, and shrimp and grits. My waitress forgot my side, but made up for it with a free dessert. She surprised us by bringing key lime pie and banana pudding. That was definitely the icing on the cake…so good!!
We ordered the shrimp and grits, fried tomato stacks and the lightly blackened red drummer fish and shrimp plate. So delicious. Cookie was attentive, caring and gave the best customer service! We love this place and we're so glad we stopped by!
Friendly service. Delicious food and drink options. They also had live music the night we were there. We had the shrimp dishes and enjoyed every bite!
Went here for dinner on a Tuesday evening and it was busy. We were seated inside and the dining room was so loud as a result of nearly every table having children there - some up and running around. Our server was prompt and friendly. The shrimp and grits were delicious and filling. The Bizchick was unremarkable but the gravy helped. Served on a large delicious biscuit. Good sweet tea. Overall it was a decent meal but we’ll probably try someplace else next time.
Relaxed family dinner. We enjoyed the food and our server was friendly. The crb bisque was tomato based and very good! The crab dip appetizer was a hit with the teenagers! Shrimp and grits were our favorite entree.
Hands down our favorite restaurant we visited during our week stay. The service was top notch, super friendly and engaging. The food was YUMMY!! We tried pimento dip and fried green tomatoes as an appetizer - both were excellent! The shrimp and grits were sooo good. The shrimp were so tender and the grits so creamy. We finished our meals with key lime and banana pudding. Our family of 6 all left feeling satisfied!!
This was our best meal while at HHI. We went for late lunch to avoid crowds. No wait. Fresh catch delicious! Others had burger, meatloaf, shrimp and grits and crab cakes. Key lime pie and banana pudding great also. Crab dip was just okay. Unlike the Serg owned restaurants, they didn’t pass along the cc surcharge to customers, which I appreciated. The prices were also reasonable.
Food is consistently delicious and wait staff is always fun loving and fantastic! Especially Cookie and Mary! Thanks for always making us feel right at home!
