Walked in and immediately walked out, more than 4 booths open and all them were filthy with dishes from the previous customers. The part that made us walk out was there was 2 employees standing around just staring into outer space while 6 other customers and I waited for tables to clear… service has Definatly went down hill over the years
Grits was nasty, eggs were burnt with cheese ,hash brown half done , toast were just like a piece of bread with butter on it ! Everything was so rushed!! Food was not cooked properly! Waitress was nice it was a bit overwhelming seemed as if the cooks couldn’t keep up with the waitress & food was being rushed out to customers! Will not go back !
OMG.. I ordered my favorite t-bone steak grits with cheese and cooked onions raisin toast and Cherry Coke. I have a particular way that I like my T-Bone steak. I like it cooked with extra butter, extra salt and pepper and Worcestershire sauce at medium temperature. I can't even explain it but it was the worst steak I had ever had in my life! My grits were tight like a fist and there was no seasoning or butter on my steak. I just said forget it. I need to lose weight anyway so I don't need to be freatin over food.
Need to go back to country music. Also, pandemic is gone. Get back to Normal already.quit running scared.
Considering they were short on staff food came out quickly. It's a waffle house the food is not the best but still worth the money. The staff was also friendly. ?
This place has always been a hit teapot kinda spot the kids love the waffles and since covid the place has went up on price and not really the same
Absolutely the worst food experience I’ve had in my life. From the worst waitress to the burnt incorrect orders of food. It started with our waitress rolling her eyes, huffing and puffing when we asked for menus as we sat down as her only table. From the waitress delivering burnt food to our table, that wasn’t what we ordered and not clearing plates and not bringing the extra plate we asked for. For her to later literally yell at us to leave the restaurant mid way thur our meal after we asked for mayonnaise which we had ordered when we ordered our meals. The manager was then no helpIn correcting our orders or apologizing for the waitress’s horrible attitude and inappropriate behavior.
Limited menu currently in 1/2022 due to major storm Izzy. Still had great food tho
This use to be my fav waffle house, but it keeps going down hill. They quit accepting call in orders and last time I show up was told I couldn't dine in. Not sure why they are even open when there are several up Wade Hampton that are happy to serve you.
Service was right on top of it and the food was very good. Cooks and waitresses was very friendly.
