First time here and I love it! The food is good and reasonably priced. The drink selection is great and also good prices compared to other bars. Heather and Eddie are wonderful bartenders! Definitely recommend hanging with them at the bar if you visit.
My husband and I recently moved to Greer and we are checking out the different restaurants downtown. The mason jar has amazing moonshine drinks and the hand battered fried chicken is to die for and the pot pie was delicious. Fun atmosphere. Super cool owners. Must visit when you’re downtown Greer.
Have gone to the Mason Jar now several times and each time is better then the last. We have been there for jukebox bingo and most recently when “The Full Effect” played! It was such a great evening and the staff is spot on with there service and super friendly! Let me just mention there wings!!! Best wings to date, extra crispy with a side of ranch made just right! I highly recommend visiting The Mason Jar not just once but often! Eddie and Heather are onto something awesome with there take on local flavors!
We Love The Mason Jar.By far the BEST burgers I've had.So many great options to choose from.We always have a great time when we come here. I have come solo, with friends, we have also gone in large groups. The drinks are Delicious. The New owners are very talented in creating cocktails and made us so many Delicious drinks. Our favorite was the Brown Butter old fashion. I highly suggest having a meal here. They have also added brunch to their Sunday menu and it is to DIE for.We love it here. ❤️
Wow I can’t say enough great things about the Mason Jar. It’s my favorite local spot great food great staff. Prices are awesome. Few of the best Bartenders in the Upstate. Had the Breakfast Brunch on Saturday. I recommend it. ❤️
This was our first time here. Will definitely be going back and bringing some friends. The moonshine burger was amazing definitely tasted homemade. The Mason jar chicken is awesome the homemade Mac n cheese is the best I've had from a restaurant in a very long time. 100% recommend trying it out.
It was my first time there. I went during my lunch hour. The food was great. The wait time was not. My hour lunch turned into 1 hr and 40 minutes. I work 5 min from there. I will definitely go back. Just not during lunch.
Placed a takeout order yesterday and was very disappointed ? One burger (Moonshiner Burger) was supposed to come with chili, had no chili on it. Both burgers were burnt on the outside but too raw in the middle. Salad was huge bulks not even cut into size small enough to eat, was supposed to come with egg but only had 1 small slice of egg. the salad looked like it was obviously thrown together in a hurry. Coleslaw had no taste at all, FRENCH FRIES WERE GREAT!! The banana pudding is advertised to be homemade which was very very far from the truth. A couple of rotten bananas pieces under yellow pudding with a few cookies thrown on top is NOT BANANA PUDDING!! A complete waste of $72.00
The fries? Amazing. The old fashioned? One of the best ones I've tasted, perfect blend of bitters and muddles sugar. The food was delicious too and don't get me started on that banana pudding! Definitely will be back!
The food was great! Highly recommend the chicken tenders. Service was good. Live music was really nice. Can’t wait to go back.
