My first time eating here was months ago when the first opened. I had the Hibachi steak! I did not enjoy the steak it was too tuff but the rice was good. 2nd time ordered via drive thru 2 tacos and crab wonton. They pulled me up. After waiting 30 mins and never getting my food I go inside and the girl hasn’t even placed my order I got a refund that day. Tried again and waited another 45 mins for the same 2 tacos and crab wonton. I will never waste my time here again! 3 times and not satisfied. 3 strikes you are out! Do not go here if you are on a lunch break. I’ll never come here again
I’ve been wanting to try this place for a while! I’m on a special diet so I couldn’t get everything my brain wanted but I did order the spring rolls with shrimp and veggies in rice paper and it came with peanut sauce… I didn’t get any peanut sauce- strike 1. Then I ordered the spicy crab sushi just to try it and it was good! I ordered a spicy Kani salad- lots of lettuce small amount of crab salad- taste was good. I ordered a side of eel sauce.. wasn’t even half an inch in the 2 inch tall cup. $20 order- worth $12 in my opinion.
Haven’t tried their other dishes, but their sushi is good. Order to go regularly and their rolls have always been good!
Some of the worst Pad Thai I have ever had. Along with missing items on our order. Thai tea was undrinkable. Spring rolls soggy.Miso soup 8/10…Sushi was decent.
Best chicken habachi I’ve had in the upstate. Always good and comes out piping hot. The vegetables are fresh as well. Their staff are always nice and have never messed up my order. I’d still go even if they messed anything up because it’s that good.
Dont waste your money here the sushi is tasteless except for condiments .The glasses are not washed well my drink had a film floating on it .The place appears clean till you look further and notice nothing is really cleaned well even the soap in the bathroom was watered downThis was my first and last time here theee are too many other choices in the area to settle for this place
The wontons were delicious, but honestly I could get a bigger wonton for a better price elsewhere. I got the shrimp tempura sushi which was great, and an eel roll. I particularly enjoy eel rolls but theirs has a massive amount of avocado, more than half the roll is just a huge chunk of avocado and that's all I could taste. I would rather have a smaller roll with a better balance of flavors than a massive roll of avocado with a touch of eel and a splash of sauce. Once again, I cannot express how much I love eel rolls, and while I would eat here again, I would never order another roll from them where the main ingredient is avocado.
Food is pretty good and the helpings are generous. The help is very nice. However the online ordering is terrible. I have eaten there 5 or 6 times and the last two times the meal was not ready for pickup until 30 and 15 minutes respectively after the time stated in the confirmation text. In addition the $5 coupon that they emailed me would not register online despite the fact that it stated in store or online specifically in the email. So take this review for what its worth to you. When I presented it at the store she kindly stated that I would have had to make a telephone order or present it at the location before I paid. Oh well.... I think i am done with the place.... Thank you for the reply. You stated the coupon expired June 2021 but I am looking at it right now and it clearly shows an expiry date of November 29, 2021. I even printed it out and brought it to the store and the person stated that she could not adjust the payment retroactively. If you are curious the coupon number was 371 175 . Good luck and I would suggest you make some adjustments to your online ordering.
I could easily eat here everyday! Their taco tortillas are fresh and so good and their meat is always well marinated and juicy. Their sushi is always fresh and filling. We love their hibachi, tacos, and firecracker roll!P.S. Bring back the pork belly tacos!!
Came in to be greeted by sushi chef! Nice guy! Nice presentation. I ran a Japanese steakhouse for 10 years and always try to support local businesses. I ordered 2 rolls. One hibachi meal and a Bobo paid over 50 for a Togo! White young lady working the register was very rude. Didn’t understand simple things. I would recommend getting a new front person! The rest of the staff was nice and professional. Might be back . Might not. Very overpriced for a ‘ express ‘ style shack. Not very impressive.. will say the young lady may have just had a bad day.. hopefully next time will be better.
