This place use to be my favorite place to be and I lived doing Bible study and eating and just having alone time but there’s definitely been a shift. There’s always something to were they are closed or shutting down early. Facebook says they close at one time and then you get there and they’ve flipped the sign and turned the lights off 3 hours early. The consistency of the new store is all over the place The employees aren’t as friendly as the staff when the original owners had workers there. I understand they are under new owners and that adjusting has to take place but it come to a point where it’s annoying. Have a business and open and close at set hours.
Great place for relaxing and catching up with friends. Great atmosphere and coffees. Good sandwiches and salads.

The Stomping Grounds is a popular place on Main St. in Downtown Greer for lunch and dinner. They specialize in a variety of coffees but the sandwich menu is fine also. It is a laid back place where a lap top or I pad is welcome and you have a section for reading, research or just visiting with friends. Try the BLT ! It is really good. Then finish it off with a piece of pie, a cookie and cup of joe! See you there. (this restaurant is closed on Monday)
We stopped in before the Freedom Fireworks in Greer last Saturday for lunch. I got the chicken salad sandwich which was excellent, definitely getting it again.. My boyfriend got the Forrester fruit and nut salad which was outstanding. The hummingbird cake was just like Grandma used to make. We definitely will be going back.
Stopped with a friend who was new to the area and wanted coffee but wound up getting lunch. Sandwiches and sides were very good and freshly made. They were very accommodating for my friend who was vegan. People were friendly. Will return.
First time visit and will be back..great salad, cool location and good coffee!
