My mom order a chicken meal, with 2 large mash/gravy, 2 cole slaw, & 2 orders of shrimp. The gravy tasted burnt, the chicken was dried up, & it tasted burnt. They messed up the side sizes, & didn't send the correct order, no cole slaw, & she didn't receive the 2 boxes of shrimp. The chicken also had feathers.She called to speak to a manager, & was told by the general manager, they were not giving her a refund, after spending $67. & something dollars. He then, told her to contact Door Dash for a refund. First off, Door Dash doesn't cook the food, they only deliver it. You all should've been more concerned with fixing the problem, instead of trying to pass it on someone else. Bad customer service, and service all around, or lack there of.I tried calling Popeyes twice, and no one bothered to answer either time. I didn't appreciate them taking to my 70 yr old mom's, money like that, as if she just has money to spend on something that looked, & tasted like that., like and missing most of the order.This the 1st time having thi s problem, & for you all to mess up, & not try to fix ur mistake. I told her to never shop there again and that was her favorite chicken place. This is the Popeyes 1109 on wade hampton blvd in Greer. I will be getting in contact with their corporate office after the 4th., I have the general managers name.
If I could give 0 stars it would be waited 38 mintues in drive thru for a chicken sandwich, then parked and then waited another 15 then had a employee come and tell me it was going to be another 10-15...over a hour for 1 chicken sandwich I drove off keep the money it's not even worth the 8 dollars, also was told they are short handed with three employees, when the lobby is closed a crew of three is all you need. Im speaking 15 plus years of food service experince in the industry. I've ran full service freaking restraunts with two cooks before, This place was a freaking joke. Highly suggest not wasting your time or money here.
I ordered a fish sandwich with red beans and rice as the side.The fish was hot,but crust was too much,I couldn't taste the fish.I got fried instead of what I ordered.They said it would take six minutes to cook the fish, I waited about 20 minutes. Only good thing is the food was hot.
I finally tired the most talked about Popeyes Chicken Sandwich for the first time the other day. To me, I feel like it's over rated. I personally do not think the chicken is seasoned real enough or marinated. Myself personally, didn't like it and most likely would not try it again. Just to bland for me!
Only been here 3 times, wasn't completely satisfied on any trip. First time I tried the Chicken Sandwich that everyone was going crazy over. It was underwhelming. Very greasy and overcooked. Second trip I had a fried chicken dinner. Also bland & overcooked. Third time I wanted to try the new shrimp tackle box. It was good,not great. But they make it look so big on TV & it's 8 shrimp that are 90% breading and popcorn size shrimp. The employees are not all that friendly either.
If you enjoy weird flavors (chicken dipped in cornmeal fish fry batter) and tons of salt then, Popeyes is for you! The ONLY thing going for them is the fact that their fried chicken is not really greasy. There's really nothing truly 'Southern' about their flavors or, style of cooking. If I want fast-food fried chicken, I will go to Kentucky Fried Chicken from now on!
I went through the drive thru and placed my order. I was told one thing over the intercom then when I arrived to the window , the cashier stated that she forget to mention that I could not place my order that way. As I am sitting here trying to decide how to adjust my order , I tell her to change out 3 pieces but I decided seconds later I need to switch it a different way. No big deal . It is only 3 pieces of chicken! The young lady who was fixing my order immediately caught an attitude , the cook said something in the intercom to the cashier about me changing the order . The cashier immediately started laughing as if me adjusting my order was a big deal . I find that the to be very unprofessional and poor customer service. The young slammed my order down and ripped the bag . Once the cashier handed me the order , I showed her where the bag was ripped , she responds oh you want another bag ? Sarcasm indeed . It’s sad that patience and just fixing a simple issue can cause so much grief in your job. I was not rude , in fact I apologized because of the inconvenience it caused the young lady who boxed my order. Definitely bad service !!!
I love the tenders and the fries. They are cooked to perfection everything I’ve been there. Thanks to the beautiful lady who took my order and gave me my food at the window. She’s a sweetheart!
Love the crispy shrimp and fried chicken . . . Mashed potatoes with sauce on top of it is yummy . . . Last but not the least Cajun fries ?? are my favorite
Can't even afford to keep the lobby open or have someone to answer the phone. Can't afford to fulfill online orders.Popeyes OFFER BETTER PAY AND STAFF YOUR STORES. SHAME ON YOU.*SEVEN MONTHS LATER* now they can't even keep the store functional at all!Talk about failure
