Went for lunch. Seated quickly. Had the chicken taco salad. Hardly any chicken, lots of lettuce, a little tomato. Enough sour cream. The quacamole was very good. Unfriendly people. Will not return.
Very fresh ingredients! Great variety on the menu without being overwhelming. Nice environment!
Being from the southwest, I am often a little reluctant to do Mexican food in other parts of the country. Tonight I ordered Chile Verde, and it was fantastic. The flour tortillas were top drawer too. Pleasant surprise in Greer, SC.
Server was friendly, but never refilled our drinks. I ordered a "chicken" burrito. Should have been called a green pepper burrito, because there were so many, and barely any chicken. Not worth the $13 price tag! Salsa was horrible, chips just okay. Go to Las Merlas on Wade Hampton if you want good Mexican food! Any place but here! Won't be back.
Service not the best. Food was delicious. Never received a drink refill.
Great food and amazing outdoor dining. Carlos did an outstanding job of taking care of our large crowd. Very accommodating and best margaritas ever!!
Was happy to find Los Portales in Greer, SC. You had the option of sitting inside or out in the courtyard. We opted outside, it had a festive atmosphere. Steak fajitas were good.
Went there this past Saturday during the international Greer festival and they were super busy and short staffed only one server and the owner/bartender they did the best they could and the food was great, people need to be more patient and empathetic, I have work in a Mexican restaurant before and knows how busy they can get people always expect a speedy service and quick food, well you can always go to Taco Bell and it seems to always be the older folks that have no compassion for others.
Excellent cooking! I had the steak tacos, fresh cilantro, lime… garnished with a grilled Hatch chiles from Hatch NM maybe. Anyway, delicious.
Worst tacos I've ever had. Dry, too much veggies, and barely warm. Had 3 different kinds and they were all terrible. Should have known by how empty the place was.
