Very sad this place has gone down hill. Not sure if it’s new management or owners or what. It used to be a happening place on the weekend. Now you can’t call in an order and seems as though you can’t walk in and place orders as they close before their posted time. Very disappointed as we always enjoyed having a nice friendly pizza place near us.
Their Pizza and Calzones are fantastic! I ordered online from their website and it was easy to use. The reason for only 3 stars is because they no longer have garlic knots and just sub in the garlic sticks. Since I ordered directly off their website, they should not have had the knots on their menu. If I’d wanted the flat pizza dough with cheese and garlic sauce, that’s what I would have ordered. They could have called to confirm I was happy with the sub instead of just swapping out the knots.
Pizza is good. I think it has too much cheese. Which I feel like is tough to do because I love cheese! But the balance seems off. I can’t ask them for any modifications because they only take online orders. Wish I could call and order so I can ask for light cheese and extra well done pizza! Otherwise it’s a good meal for an easy dinner.
Best pizza in the area, in my opinion! We tried this restaurant after church today and were very impressed! The owner, from Buffalo, NY, said that the dough is fermented for no less than 5 days. I don't know any other place that does that. It was so chewy and flavorful! They also do a Panhead pizza I want to try. Today I had a "light" calzone that was sooo flavorful along with my tablemates eating the Caveman pizza. Mmmmm. Wine and beer too. Now I can't go anywhere else.
Terrible service, great pizza though...not able to order via phone due to short staff ??? But yet can call a person/manager To say there app wasn't working..instead of offering service and saying sorry I'll take care of you , her response was try our website..great food, zero customer service
This is our families go to pizza spot. We love kaveman. It is a little slow, but worth the wait. Get the mozzarella sticks as an appetizer or garlic knots.
I’m super disappointed in this restaurant. We called to get the attached deal, which is literally posted on their website. They refused the deal, despite it being on their website for unknown reasons. So, it cost $71 for a cheese pizza, 24 wings and a soda. When I tried contacting via messenger, i literally got 15 Of the same message re a free pizza for joining a club and no response to the concern. While the food is great, service like this is not acceptable. We will be using other, reasonable pizza places moving forward
The best pizza in the Upstate!!! We have been looking for a great pizza place since moving here 12 years ago and tonight we found it at Kustom Krust. The staff was extremely friendly. Well worth going out into the cold. We will be back!!! Loved it!!!
I ordered a large pizza and wings. The lady on the phone was telling me that I had to select only two sauces for 18 wings. Well, I’ve ordered there before, and that has never been the case. So, after going to pick up the order, they only had the wings ready for pick up. I had to let my wings get cold and wait for a pizza to be cooked because they left it off the order. The manager tried to argue with me that she repeated the entire order, but she was just repeating the wings order. So, I got messed over on the pizza and had to wait another 20 minutes for the pizza while the wings got cold. Mind you, they had me waiting for 30 minutes already. Service is going downhill really fast. I asked for a discount because of the inconvenience, but she wouldn’t budge. Too uptight to really service customers who’ve been coming there since they’ve opened. Sidewall has my service from now on!!
Love the pizza. Not the best bar, no taps. And just had an annoying run in with an incompetent staff person that wanted us to pay twice for our pickup order. Not polite, not friendly and not even apologetic after she interrogated us for a few minutes. Thank God for managers right?
