We ordered food here a few days ago and we all got sick so I called the restaurant around 5 to let them know and the manager’s reaction was not very pleasant and did not even say sorry. I told her I called just to warn them so they can either check with their kitchen staff or inspect the food and trying to stop other people from getting sick. She sounded very defensive and told me it can’t be their food and that many people have ordered and no one has called to say anything. She told me to go to the doctor and get checked because they also have “insurance” which I don’t understand. I kept telling her I am not trying to make a fuss or get a refund or anything but I am just trying to let them know 3 people have gotten sick. While our baby had their soup and was find. Luckily she did not have what we had and it would have been bad.I have ordered at this place in the past so we are actually very loyal and I’d say starting to be a regular customer but I was very disappointed at their reaction. All I wanted to hear was…maybe sorry and will check with the kitchen staff or something but to be absolutely sure it is not their food (when that was all we had that day - we don’t eat breakfast and we got the food for lunch as our first meal of the day) without even doing an extra step is very disappointing and now I can’t trust this place to at least care what their customers are eating whether it’s gonna make them sick or not. I have been thinking a lot whether to leave a review or not but I just felt it was not right.
Absolutely phenomenal service, to match the earth shattering food quality and taste. Ive had a lot of Chinese food, and this one absolutely obliterates all competition. The food is so incredibly amazing, that I don't think any other place is gonna do it for me. If you've never had grand china, give it a shot, because from my first bite to my last, I was smiling.
Worst place in the world.Asked for spare ribs get over cooked pieces of meat that tasted like rubber.Asked for Fried Rice. Get White Rice with “egg… and soy sauce”The beef of the stick was pink and thrown in the trash right away.Top it all off the fortune cookies did not have fortunes inside and were burnt.Called to resolve with the store, poor girl who answered the phone felt bad because the manger refused to speak with me.Do not go here
We places. $30 to go order for two and brought it home. When we opened the bag we realized that it wasn’t right and called the restaurant to speak with someone. I explained what we felt was incorrect and was told “that’s how it’s fixed here”. Spoke with the manager who argued with me that that was how I ordered it. No apology or offer to fix it. Was told if we wanted it fixed we had to pay more $$. Will NOT go back.
Good service and large serving sizes. Would have given 5 Stars.....but way too much garlic in my meal. Very clean facility.
Worst food ever. Got more than we ordered, order was wrong, no chicken in chicken chow mein, egg rolls we terrible, actually everything we ordered was not correct and everything was awful. Called about order she hung up on me. Don't waste your money, go to Mcdonald would have been a better choice,
I found China Prairie when my husband was sick with Coronavirus in January. He wanted some Egg Drop Soup. Since placing our first to go order we have eaten to go many times from there. Their food is fantastic!!! We live in Boiling Springs, SC so the drive is pretty long. China Prairie is the best Chinese restaurant in the whole area from Boiling Springs throughout Spartanburg, SC. Their food is worth the drive for us!!!
Really good. I prefer white meat when I eat chicken and I really appreciated that they had that option. Everything tasted fresh and the service was friendly.
Very nice staff, very good service, & VERY TASTY FOOD. We ordered online and did it as pick-up. We did order the spare ribs & they were out, BUT they gave us a call as soon as they saw our order and let us know, offered us boneless spare ribs instead, and we were very happy with our experience. I always take pictures of my food for reviews but I could not wait to dig into this meal. It smelled so good and the taste did not disappoint! We have FINALLY found our favorite Chinese spot!
Shared a huge meal with my boyfriend for under $30. We ordered two combination plates, one was pepper steak and the other General Tso chicken. Let me tell you... these plates were packed with delicious, hot food. They even come with a side of soup, crackers, egg rolls, and other fried items. 10/10 would visit again. To add to the matter, the staff were nice and quick when we picked up our order.
