Waited 30 minutes in line and was the wrong food, I went up to the door to get it fixed because there was a very long line. I told them what happened then the MANAGER said in front of my face “she could’ve waited in line like every one else”. And told the employee not to let any one else in. I’m not waiting in a line again if I was given the wrong food the manager was a girl And she had dreads hopefully she will change her attitude towards customers.
This is like the Taco Bell of NC/SC. Food isn't particular good... None of it. The fries, burgers, and shakes are just okay. In fact they are probably worse than McDonald's but I haven't had McDonald's in over 10 years so who knows.Milkeshakes lack real flavor. Assuming there's very little dairy in there. Burgers are small and over cooked. Fries are meh.The only thing this place has going for it is: speed (very fast), open late (good for the drunks), and price (cheap as heck). But you knew all this.
Never coming back here! Waited an hour in the drive through and food was cold. There was a crazy employee dancing in the parking lot while he was supposed to be changing the letters on the sign. The cashier was dancing when I pulled up, unconcerned with the line wrapped around the building. Save time and go literally anywhere else!
Good service, delicious food, great prices, short wait time for food.I sent my niece to Five Guys recently to pick up food for dinner and the bill really made me appreciate Cookout more than ever. The food here is comparable (in my opinion, better) but you can actually feed a family without breaking the bank. A whole meal with a drink at Cookout is only a dollar and change more than a PLAIN HOTDOG at Five Guys. No joke.I took some friends from PA here and told them it would be amazing, and they weren't disappointed. And that's what I love about Cookout. The food is reliably delicious, and they do so many things well it's hard to choose what to get. It's a crowd pleaser and everyone left happy and full. And if bacon is your thing, you should DEFINITELY come here. Have you ever heard of a bacon wrap? It exists and it's on the menu here, and it's as delicious as you would imagine. And I almost always get bacon on my grilled chicken sandwiches here, either "cheddar style" or "club style."The shakes are amazing too, and only cost a dollar if you get a tray and choose a milkshake instead of a drink. Do yourself a favor and try the banana pudding milkshake. I live all the way in Spartanburg and it was worth the drive.Look at all this food on the table (our meal in progress) - the best bang for your buck if you want delicious fast food.
It gets busy here but service is usually fast. I don't think they've ever gotten my order wrong here, which is saying a lot for fast food.Cook Out definitely has the best fast food burgers and you can't beat the prices.
Cook Out always has pretty cheap eats that are good. The food here was hot and everything was correct. We didn't spend very long in the drive thru and being able to more than adequately feed three people for about 20$ is great.
Food was good and correct but the lady at the front was reading my card number out loud while typing it into the computer. Now I have to request a new card because who knows who heard her. Name on the receipt was Hope. Maybe they’ll train her not to read card numbers out loud if they see this.
I wouldn't say this is a bad experience, just more like a disappointing one. When I went with me and my family, we ordered simple menu items, the regular burger tray with fries and coleslaw. Easy to fix, right? Wrong. The food was delicious (I have always loved Cookout's food) but the service was awful. The burger patty was about two inches in length, so much so that the bun just completely collapsed it. The fries were thrown into a greasy bag. The coleslaw was thrown into cups. No, not those tiny cups that they normal serve them in, the fountain drink cups. Like seriously, you could have either just said "Hey, we don't have any of the small cups, would you like something different?" And I would have said sure. The service, again, was horrible and when we left, there was one young girl taking orders from a line with about 10 individuals. I love Cookout, but the service here just made me really infuriated because they could have hired better employees. Cookout, if you wanna have customers, either 1. Train these young kids 2. Fire them, or 3. READ YOUR REVIEWSUntil Cookout gets this under control, I think I won't be back. Also, the burger tray went up from $5 to $6.59 which is completely and utterly ridiculous for a tiny burger and a greasy bag with some plastic cup coleslaw
Terrible service Went through drive thru Ordered a burger tray Lettuce tomato Mayonnaise And Coleslaw Got a burger with onion cheese Mustard Had to walk back in Ask them to fix it Stood there for 10 minutes Watching 10 other people get served in front of me before I just left. If you screw up someones order you should fix immediately, the other customers complaining the fountain drinks were all out ,I got slaw in a drink cup with hardly any in it because they were out. Whos running this place. Won't go back
Food is okay sometimes but lack of cleanliness is apparent at this location. The rim of my cup has some mystery substance.
