We love Mexican food and it had been a couple years since my husband and I had dined here so we thought we would give it a try again. We had Steak fajitas and a Fajita Burrito plus we ordered guacamole. The guacamole was sour and pureed. It looked like strained baby food and we sent it back. Never again. The steak pieces were small and some were dried out and chewy. The service was good and the salsa was very tasty, but overall the experience was disappointing. In fact, afterwards, I didn't feel well and pretty sure it was the small amount of guacamole I ate. We will not return.
Y'all the chips and salsa are amazing!!! I will say I wasn't real happy with my carnitas, they cook them differently than I'm accustomed to BUT I am willing to try Santa Fe out again
Picked up some great mexican, beer & strawberry daiquiri
The food is authentic and delicious! Quick service, good margaritas. Authentic atmosphere as well. They make you feel like you're in Cabo San Lucas.
Food was hot, fresh and tasty. Margaritas were strong and flavorful, and the shrimp and steak fajitas are a must have.
The food is in serious need of a lot more herbs, spices, garlic, onions, and tomato sauce. I ordered the Special Dinner which includes tostada, enchilada, taco, chili relleno, rice and beans. All were bland. The enchilada sauce tasted like gravy. On the other hand, the chips and salsa were good, and the lettuce and tomato on the tostada was fresh. If you do like the food, it is very affordable.
We have dined in at the restaurant on several occasions and it is satisfactory. However, we have ordered take out and on more than one occasion gotten home to find things missing that we paid for. We will never visit this restaurant again. When my friend told them they left something out of our order the day before they told her to prove it and ended up yelling at her. A simple I'm sorry would have gone a long way. We ate there once a week to the tune of at least $60 --- any recommendations.for another Greenwood Mexican restaurant that appreciates their customers?!
The food was outstanding and service was great. Love the flavors of the dishes and the decor is pretty cool. They have about anything you could want... can't wait to try different items.
They raised their prices recently and to top it off they added a surcharge for credit card transactions. That's poor business, I'd rather go elsewhere.
My former co-workers (5 of us) like to try old favorites and new restaurants around Greenwood. It's been a while since I had been to Santa Fe. I ordered fajitas, my favorite from the past. I was quite disappointed with the product. Although I received lots of meat, it was like thin strings of precooked meat, more like stir-fry meat with mushy bell pepper and onions. Neither did it have that Tex Mex fajita flavor.. I remember that it used to arrive at the table sizzling, with that fajita aroma with fat strips of meat and grilled onions and bell pepper. The refried beans, guacamole, and rice were good. Most of my friends had the large bowl of chicken soup which they enjoyed. I always enjoy the atmosphere there and the decor, especially the chair art.
