The staff hospitality, food service, pet friendly atmosphere and rooms are exceptional. Value is superb. We will return!
Absolutely magical place. The lobby reminded me of Beauty and the Beast meets fairly lands. Restaurant and bar was great for dinner and breakfast was fantastic. Let me give a huge shout out to my girls…. Natasha at the front desk…. I met my front desk soulmate! And Natasha and Carolyn in housekeeping were the most helpful and day making ladies I’ve ever come across. Being in the hotel business myself it takes a special kind of person to deal with some of the people you get now a days but they always had a smile. Thank you guys for such an amazing stay!
I don’t even know where to begin. Calling this place extraordinary is an understatement to be honest. It’s a home away from home. It’s a place where the staff feels like friends and they treat you like family. We stumbled upon this place for sad reasons (had a family member in the hospital in town) but the stay made it so much better. The elevator doors open and the girls at the desk are hollering hello to my young daughter. They asked for updates on our family and were sincerely curious. The Inn is located right in down town and my family and I enjoyed walking to new places for lunches, enjoying the sweet little town. We had to come back in town for a funeral and honestly felt extreme emotions because we were so excited to be back at the Inn!We are looking forward to coming back in town again mostly just to stay here again (I hear they have peach corn bread muffins?!)THANK YOU Inn at the Square from the bottom of my heart for everything. You guys are amazing.
Found this hotel because it's dog-friendly... such a great find! Beautiful lobby. Bar inside was a plus. And the free breakfast was awesome. Recommend this place!
Rooms a little small but very clean and comfortable. Service is impeccable and location is right on Main St and within walking distance to food and shops. Pet friendly too!
Service was great from everyone, the breakfast was good and the rooms were comfortable. special shout out to Natasha.
We really loved the look of the place….charming and traditional. Huge lobby with overstuffed furniture and piano. Our room however, was lacking in comfort. The mattress’s were hard and squeaky. The air conditioner sounded with a loud clunk as it came on. There was only a walk in shower without a door to close or shower curtain. The floor near the commode couldn’t help but get wet even with the SMALL shower mat. Also, it was difficult to turn on the shower without wetting the hair. Shower Caps should be provided. My husband requested a quiet room. We were given a room overlooking the Main Street with ambulances running up and down. Also, they put us just steps away from the elevator, ice maker and the maids closet…which was in DESPERATE need of painting. Guest comfort should be a top priority. The staff? Very friendly. The continental breakfast served was made to order. It was excellent and I would eat there again. The bar on site has good food as well. A few considerations for the guests and I would rate this higher and consider returning. Some deferred maintenance at this hotel though it was mostly clean. Hard times for businesses as the result of Covid.
Very nice place for such a small town. Staff very friendly. You can tell it is a chore to keep up such an old building but they are working on it. The rooms are very good. Do not miss the breakfast included with your room. I would recommend that you ask for a room on back of building. Front faces Main St and it can be a bit noise.
Comfortable place to stay. They have a really nice bar and a good breakfast! 8 1/2 out of 10 would definitely recommend!
Decent room but may be time for an update. Breakfast is delicious with awesome service. Hotel is located in the downtown Greenwood area, with lots of shopping and dining around.
