This review is a negetive one star review. I do not like posting when its not positive, its not the first time. I used to try to come here and service was slow and poor with a smattering of a few good employees. So I came by this morning and now its worse. I tried a table at first, but it was to cold, so before I was talked to or waited on went to place my order at counter to go. The waitress was like you sitting or what? I explained, Ill take it to go and she was visibly put off and a bit rude. I then had another interaction with her, and she told me to sit down and again miffed when I told her I prefer to stand. She didnt suggest other patrons to sit while waiting on to go. Long story short. I get to work with my breakfast, now its worse. I didnt order this breakfast, I thought I was getting a chicken melt bowl. I got a texas toast breakfast sandwich with hashbrowns with onions in it. Yuck!! I paid $11.00 dollars for a hard time and a breakfast I wont eat. Boo!!
Lots of tables were roped off because they only had 2 employees, the cook and one waitress. The waitress handled everything well, was very polite and caring for guests. The did an amazing job under the circumstances and we rewarded her well for her efforts.
Sat for 15 minutes was never acknowledged except to be told I was sitting in employee section of the dining room. Very interesting. Needless to say I didn't eat here
The Waffle House on Roper Mountain Road made me feel like they didn't want to serve a black I stood in front of the cash register waiting to be helped for a long time and it was two white men and one old white lady that was working that night and they act like they didn't want to serve me so won't be visiting that Waffle House again and they probably have done other blacks that way.???
Great service and the food was hot and fresh.
I was charged $9.35 for a small bacon, egg, and cheese grits bowl…my typical order and I normally pay $4-$5 at most…so the waitress Victoria told me that I was not paying the correct price when that’s the price I always pay….if she wanted a tip I would have gladly given her a generous tip and for this, I will not eat at this Waffle House ever again…Receipt is from another Waffle House in Greenville on 11-20-21, bacon, egg, and cheese bowl for $4.50…
The food was good. The service was good. The only thing that really bothered me was the fact that when my husband forgot to put the tip on the credit card the server came out into the parking lot and approached us about it. I thought this was unprofessional. We always tip, and well too. This just rubbed me the wrong way. Just saying.
Just stopped there to have breakfast with my wife after her medical procedure. We were ignored by Isaiah the waiter for a few minutes before a few white people walked in and sat down. The waiter decided to serve the white folks first and keep ignoring my wife and me. I’m from Mexico and my wife is from Louisiana (Caucasian) but I guess all white goes first even for AA waiters like Isaiah.
Good food and Great Friendly Service from our server Victoria!!!
KB & JoJo served my daughter & I. We had the entire place to ourselves and it was our first time in town, they served us as if we were royalty and carried themselves with the most professionalism, more than many upscale restaurants! They were so friendly and polite! Definitely appreciated the warm welcoming service and great food!
