We recently moved to the area and have been looking for a small, local place to visit on date night. Tonight we found it. Vault and vator was everything I needed it to be...low key music, cool and dark atmosphere with lovely quiet corners, great bartender and a place to get amazing cocktails. We tried 5 cocktails off the menu and all of them were well mixed with great inventive flavors. If you want chain bar/restaurant flavors, keep walking. They make their own syrups and fusions. This is a must visit if you are in town or a weekly stop for locals. We will be returning for date night in the future! Thanks for a great evening!
Literally the best cocktail lounge I've ever been to, I've been probably 10+ times.and haven't had a single drink I didn't love. I highly recommend getting a 'dealers choice'!
This is a must for any adults interested in mixed drinks. They have the best mixed drinks and my recommendation is to use the mixed drinks based on two adjectives (smokey, spicy, etc.) The staff is always friendly and it has a very fun vibe. It is styled after a speakeasy, and is not in an obvious location. If its you're first visit to Greenville it's a must in my opinion. You can get something new each time, well worth the time. Expect close to $15 a drink but it is WELL worth it if you're with friends, family, or coworkers
Low key relaxing environment. Not your usual bar crowd either. There is an interesting array of unique cocktails. The wait staff and bar tenders are also very nice, attentive and friendly.
One of my FAVORITE places to go get drinks! [And a charcuterie board.]The entire staff is friendly and it's a nice atmosphere to relax in. The drinks are all great [even the ones I don't personally like when I try them ?] and I never feel unsafe here. Preferred first date location because I feel safe.
Location of the bar is intriguing. Behind a door behind the building. The first impression was great. The theme was good until you spend more time and observe how things are run. It’s just a typical bar. Tried 3 drinks, king for a day, smoke show, lavender field. And all were subpar and too sugary. This is a typical social bar with a dark feel. From the photos, reviews and their website were nice and wanted it to live up close to expectations. Very chill vibe hole in the wall bar with all sorts of interesting cocktails to choose from. It was a busy night when we visited so that's probably why it took almost 30 minutes for us to get our drinks, but it was a good experience and the staff were awesome. I had the grog blossom. I would suggest visiting if you know your booze and what you do and don't like, because these are expensive craft drinks and if you don't know what you like it'll probably seem like a waste of money for a drink you didn't wholeheartedly enjoy.
Unique drink experience with kind service and knowledgable bartenders. Enjoyed the drink and experience.
