What a cool spot. Great food, awesome drinks. We had the best bloody Mary ever here... don't know what's in it, because I never like them usually, but these hit the spot. Food was pretty delicious and came out relatively quick. Also have many different meat options for burgers including veggie patties. Server was funny, friendly, and HONEST. That's all I could ever ask for. Really great spot, will be back for sure.
After hearing about this place for years I was finally able to go. The burger and tots that I had were great. However we did get am appetizer of the smoked wings that day that were on special and frankly they were horrible. We only ate one each and threw the rest away. I will probably go back again for a burger but not sure I'm willing to venture outside of that when I return. Service was great and restaurant has a nice atmosphere. Pricing maybe a little higher than I expected but at this time I guess it's the new norm.
Great service, our server was very efficient and brought us water and drinks within minutes. The Bloody Mary was terrific Ordered appetizer soft Pretzel and Grilled Avocado, both were very tasty. We ordered Buffalo Chicken Sandwich and Fajita Chicken Quesadilla, both were hot and great, good quality, very good. Plus a dog friendly patio, our dog loved the grilled chicken!
We love this place. Our service has always been good, the food is delicious, good beer selection. Lately the side items (fries, tots, onion rings) have been smaller portions and take note the prices have gone up. We love this place though, so we'll keep coming back. Some of our fav's, smashburger, Buffalo chicken sandwich, gyro, patty melt..all delicious. I highly recommend and if you can't get parking there, head next door on the other side of the bowling alley to the Canal insurance parking lot.
Last night was the first time either one of us had been to Universal Joint. I couldn't decide on which drunk to start off with and asked the waitress on her recommendation to which she said both were equally popular so I started with Titos Punch. We ordered the Universal fries to start with and they were great! She got the smokehouse burger and I ordered the mushroom and Swiss. It was pretty good. We both enjoyed our burgers. I really enjoyed the Titos Punch but really wanted to try the Troublemaker so I ordered one of those and it was fantastic! I couldn't decide which one I enjoyed more so I'll continue to get both each time I return.
Unfortunately we will not be back after today. We have been here several times, but have never experienced service as bad as today. The younger girl with brown hair was our server. She brought us one of our two drinks. Twenty minutes later we asked for the other - a Diet Coke. She walked away and never came back. When I stood up to ask her for our check, she walked away again. She went to the table beside us 3 times, but never came back to our table after taking our order. Luckily a guy who worked there was willing to cash us out. I’ve worked in the service industry and know the horrors that can come with serving. This was unacceptable.

I ate here for the first time and really enjoyed it. The house made veggie burger was delicious, and came with a side salad...the healthy option! It's a cozy restaurant with a few different seating areas and a bar with TVs...plus a spacious outdoor seating area for when the temperatures warm up.
Wife's chicken quesadilla was great my burger was dry and hard to eat the u joint appetizer was great our server was un aware of his tables needs drink was empty and still asked if we needed a refill we haven't even received our meal just the appetizer but other than that atmosphere was good and music selection was great
