Terrible experience last night, we will NOT be back. I placed the order online and noticed that the time given for pick up was way longer than if I had just walked in. No big deal but when I picked up the food it was not hot/fresh and the to go containers were somewhat soggy. I.e. it had been sitting out a while. That in itself was not a huge issue but what followed was. When I gave my name they handed me a bag and I said "so everything is in here?" and the answer without checking was yes. When I got the food home there were no sauces and no sour cream (which I selected online and paid extra for) so I had to go back. I tied calling the phone number given on the online receipt but it went straight to voicemail with a message that the box was full and not taking messages. So I took the receipt in with me and the staff was rude and seemed offended that I was telling them that these items were left off. And, one of the orders was totally wrong (clearly ordered a wrap but got a bowl) but at this point I was just cutting my losses because the family was waiting on me and now the food is cold and everyone is hungry. They shoved a bag at me with the sauces and never once said "sorry" or apologized for the issues. Again I asked "are you sure that this is right?" but when I got home with the sauces it was still missing several. BTW, they were NOT crowded, only a handful of customers so no reason that you can't get it right. After all of this the food was bland at best and the meats were dry. The service and the food used to be good, not sure what has changed, but it has. For $57.00 I'll being doing something else.
Literally every time I order from this location my order is wrong. This is the 6th time! Its sad I have to check my food as soon as I get in the car after every order. There aren’t even a lot of ingredients to begin with. Just slack! This location used to be up to par. I even tried to call to notify the manager and they turned the phone off on me and after calling because no one would answer. They close at 9pm, I called at 8:20pm. I am DONE with this location. I’d rather drive miles longer just to get my order right. I don’t even want my money back anymore, I just want a higher up to see this and know that this is ridiculous.
Simpsonville store... the food is good, the people are nice, but my food is always wrong. Paid for a salmon bowl with a side of plantains and grilled chicken. Only got the salmon bowl last night.

Being a SAHM I meet my husband for lunch once a week. Tropical Grille is somewhere we go frequently because it isn’t far from his office. We have waited in the drive through and ate inside. Usually very pleasant experiences both with staff and food. Today however, it was the absolute opposite! The wait was over 30 min in line. The lady they had working the drive through was absolutely awful and unnecessarily rude. I wanted to talk to the manager, but when he came to the window he just handed us the food. We had to ask multiple times for extra sauces that we paid for and even more times for utensils. The way she spoke to us as customers was surprising and not ok. That on top of the literally burnt food, we may be finding a new lunch spot.
Used be much better. I used to be able to get large servings with lots of flavor at a good price. Now prices have increased, servings decreased, and flavor is not as good. I would still eat here and by fine but it could be better.
The customer service of this place has declined segnificantly since the past couple of years. Ordered at the register today 01/27/22 at 17:50. A great number of people (10?) ordered after me and still got their orders before me. I waited over 20 minutes for my order, even after I came up to the online order pick up line no one even bothered to call out my order. When I asked about my order, they "found" it at the phone in shelf. No apologies were offered....
The food was good, not great but good. It was the sauces that made it a success for me. There were 3 sauces that you put on your food yourself, and that was awesome.
I've been eating at Tropical Grille since there was only one on Pelham and it was called Tropical Chicken. The food has consistently been amazing since then, and still is my CLEAN "fast food" go to. They did my meal prep when I was bodybuilding, and they made the Journey so much easier. I personally know the owner and his wife, and they are exceptional people rooted in faith and love. I eat here at least once a week. You should to. Look for a location near you. And if there's not one near you yet, I'm sure it will be soon. They're THAT good!
My go-to place for affordable and healthy food. Rice and chicken are both staples to my diet at home, but I still find myself there frequently. The sandwiches are also great; the Cuban is my favorite! That being said, the sauces may be the best part of their offerings. The jalapeno garlic and sweet mustard curry sauces were sent from god himself to elevate any food. The best part is, you can buy a bottle to take home.
