My favorite fast food Mexican restaurant since I was a young girl! All my children and their children still liove going even after all these years. Best food, best owners and employees. Only thing is now they have limited their operating hours due to labor shortage. It's a shame, especially when you get that craving and nothing else will satisfy!
Taco Casa is one of those local spots that become legendary thanks to word-of-mouth. Why? There is only one, it's not a chain and it's mainly known for its super cheap lunch specials. And they are so worth the $5.36 you pay! Think about it, a burrito, a taco an empanada and a drink for $5.36! Incredible! And it's tasty too! Maybe not world class Mexican, but definitely a great lunch spot on a budget!
Can't say enough about Taco Casa. I have been going to Taco Casa since I first moved to Greenville in 1990.Wish that I could give this awesome restaurant more than five stars.Over the years, I have eaten there countless amount of time, and has never been disappointed in the selection of the loaded full menu, the delicious, tasty, fast, and well prepared meals, or the friendly and welcoming greeting and service that I have always received.Whenever I have family to visit me, I always take them there to eat, and I always introduce them to Mike, and the crew, who I have came to love and respect as a friend. Even now, my Mother talk about the tacos she ate there, and how good and tasty they were...and she always ask me about Mike. She may not remember much now in her advanced years, but she always remember Mike and those tacos. So, as I said, If you want some good and tasty food to eat, that is prepared fast, but so dang good...go to Taco Casa and see what I mean.Mike Hart will make you feel like family, and the food will make you get up and cheer...its that delicious, trust me.
I was so happy to see sanchos on the menu, as I haven't had one since my favorite place in Columbia closed down. The place was packed and all was well but my when I bit into it, it just wasn't the same. The meat texture wasn't the same. Great experience but the meat needs an upgrade!
I was a very regular patron of Taco Casa when I was in college. I'm not longer in the area, but it is one of my favorite places to eat anywhere in the world.
Very good experience. One of those random local places that has persisted for a long time and is very populated My food was good and I included pictures. I got the Thursday lunch special, and the meat this is a greatplace if you are looking to mass consume. in the burrito was thicker than my fork. The salsas weren’t terribly hot, they can be handled by anybody.Pros:*Good price*Good food volume for price*Salsa bar*Lots of spaceCons:*Condiments and Salsa bar are jammed together and causes long lines.*The parking lot is insufficient, but they realistically cannot do anything about that
Absolutely love your food . It taste great plus good prices for your budget! Y’all are amazing! Wishing all of you a wonderful 2022!
This is NOT Mexican food, this is Tex Mex, and it’s absolutely delicious, and very inexpensive. The decor is a throwback to the 80s. You order at the counter, get your drink, and your food is ready. Their hot sauces are good - just watch out for the habanero!
This is a great local restaurant owned and operated by a wonderfully nice group. The food is fast and freshly made and we love everything!!
Fast service, friendly staff, great food and prices.
