There is no place finer for a cocktail in all of Greenville. Don’t waste your time on anywhere else. Every element of your experience is classy perfection! The staff are unmatched and a joy to get to know. Stop wondering if you should go and just do it! But also try to keep it somewhat of a secret, because it’s truly *that* special.
I’ve lived in the Greenville area for 9 years and last night was the most impressive service experience I’ve had from a restaurant in all that time. The food was phenomenal and the drinks were fantastic but the level of attention the staff puts on their patrons was simply old school. What I mean by that is they go out of their way to serve you. So many places today just heard you through like you should be grateful they let you in the front door. The owner/management and staff are absolutely doing things right here and Emily behind the bar is priceless. They opened in 2019, can’t believe it took me 2.5 years to find this place!
Food was delicious and atmosphere was great! Bartenders know their stuff and make amazing cocktails.
Swanky speakeasy two blocks off main serving up delicious quality cocktails and nibbles. Loved the upscale vibe. Super friendly and knowledgeable staff. Only cons were how long it took to get food to the table and the overwhelming amount of horseradish in the mustard sauces. Otherwise, an excellent experience. Would definitely recommend. Side note: For those not familiar with speakeasies, they don’t serve vodka just fyi.
We walked in here on a Friday night with no reservation but got a nice booth seat. This place has no fancy sign and just a swordfish on the front door, so you could easily pass it by and have no idea what is Inside. This is a lovely bar with very a great vibe and comfortable atmosphere. Lighting in subdued and very pleasant. The service was excellent. You won't find certain cocktails here as the bar menu is somewhat unique. Hard liquors are the focus here so this is not a wine bar, although they do serve a few beers. Price points are a bit steep but you are paying for a very nice experience. This is a great spot for an after dinner drink if you are in the downtown area as it is just a few short blocks off Main Street.
I’ve been twice now and I absolutely love this place! The bartenders are very knowledgeable, fun, and professional. It has a speak easy kind of feel to it. Cocktails and small plates are amazing!
Swordfish has an upscale atmosphere with great service. Making drinks is truly an art form. Everything we tried was amazing! Be sure to get reservations, or chances are you won't get a seat.
I’ve only had their cocktails but they were top quality and delicious. They juice everything fresh and have classic cocktails as well as signature drinks. The bartenders really know what they are doing.
By far this is the nicest upscale bar to get a drink in downtown Greenville. The customer service is second to none. The staff is the most professional that you will find. MUST VISIT
We arrived at 8:45 on a Saturday night, 4 women dressed for a fun night out. A local recommended this bar and we were excited to try. Alas it was not meant to be. Despite the fact that the bar had maybe 4 people being served and there were multiple seats available both inside and out we were told it would be 1030 before they could seat us. Even the bar stools required a reservation. No walk ups. What’s the point of a bar if you can’t stroll in for a cocktail? We were turned away. Don’t bother going here unless you have a reservation…. Even for a barstool.
