First time eating here, and I can see why this place is bustling; the food was fantastic! My wife and I had the sashimi appetizer, which was amazing. I had two kinds of sushi (rainbow roll and salmon skin) and finished off with black sesame ice cream (try it!). The atmosphere was relaxing, and the wait staff super friendly. Definitely a must try!
Absolutely Loved this little place! Friendly staff, great drinks and food was fresh and phenomenal! Price for food was definitely on point as well! I was definitely surprised. I highly recommend. Small place but they seemingly busy. Not quite sure when the best times to go are. Can't wait to come back! I wish I would have taken more pictures of our food but only took the 2 and rest were videos.
I have eaten at this sushi restaurant for years the food is consistently good and the service is usually great. Sometimes the waitress can be very busy and overwhelmed but they still try to make sure you have an enjoyable experience.This has to be the most authentic Japanese sushi bar in Greenville. The Mio Sake is also very delicious.
Had a great time at Sushi Masa. The atmosphere was great. I completed the meal with chopsticks! The hot tea was a nice touch too.The servers stayed busy and kept things moving. Our food was delivered in a timely manner and was delicious.
Fresh, fast, and AMAZING quality food at a great price.I stopped in for lunch today with my husband because he’s been craving ramen. While Sushi Masa seems like it would be more sushi than anything they actually have a decent selection of amazing ramen. We added a couple appetizers and I got the Sushi Sashimi Bento box which was all $47 for the 2 of us. I highly recommend the sashimi as the fish was incredibly fresh and tasted amazing. Our waitress was very attentive, food came out hot and fairly quickly. I wish we would have noticed the specials menu which is right inside the door as you walk into the main dining area. These change daily and offer unique items.The one thing we didn’t love was the edamame which could have been due to the amount of food we got that was all amazing and filling. So I wouldn’t say they were bad just not as good as everything else we had.Overall we will definitely be back to try the full dinner menu and the specials that we missed.
This has become our #1 Sushi place in the Upstate. Super fresh and super friendly. We started with the Tuna Takaki, absolutely superb! Wife ordered the Philadelphia roll & spicy tuna roll, very high quality tuna. I ordered the Honeymoon Roll and it instantly became my all-time favorite! Great sushi! Highly recommend!
Have been going here for years and always a great experience. The wait staff have been the same forever and are so nice and remember us and our order. I usually get the sushi but my wife has tried other items and everything is great. Perfect place for a quick lunch and they take reservations for dinner only and recommend them since there is usually a wait. We have never waited when we had reservations as they mark the table and you walk right in. Can't recommend this place enough - go try it you will enjoy the food and experience.
So customer service is fantastic based on the accident and confusion I just caused. I called asking about a certain deal that is all day everyday and I was very confused as I was sure that I called the right number. I was like “this is sushi masa right?” Well it was, but in the completely wrong state. That is completely my fault and the hostess who answered did everything in her power to help me figure out what I was actually talking about. After hanging up, I quickly looked at the location and realized my mistake. If I ever visit up there I would like to say thank you for being kind and patient with me in my state of confusion. I really just wanted to go out to eat with my sister tomorrow.
First was taken here by my Japanese instructor, after living in Japan and traveling around the country, I can say this is the most authentic Japanese dining experience I've had in the US! Japanese servers and chefs and Japanese food classics! Delicious food and a real reminder of Japan!
I'm always on the look out for Japanese food that's authentic. I normally don't eat Japanese outside of areas with large Japanese American populations because the food is terrible. Sushi Masa does it right, just like my Obachan used to make. Thanks for giving me a place to enjoy comfort food when I'm in the Carolinas.Extra stars because they don't carry white sauce.
