Went for lunch a week or so ago Friday as we’re visiting Greenville and was disappointed in the food. Fish had to have been rotten that was on the specials list. It was brown, I just assumed it had been put in a sauce. Also the server seemed overwhelmed and smelled strongly of alcohol, Matt was very nice but think they need more staff. Went to Purple on south main yesterday and the fish was so fresh and beautifully put together. Will not be returning to sushi go unfortunately

Ordered the chicken teriyaki and Sushi Lunch combo A. Although the sushi sounds like a good value, the rolls were extremely small and pretty basic. The chicken teriyaki had more emphasis placed on the presentation than the taste, as it was fairly bland and lacking the rich deep flavors of traditional Asain cuisine. In terms of the atmosphere, the restaurant is not well kept. Duct tape used to fix wobbly tables, etc. Additionally, despite the restaurant being slow, the waiter did not do a good job attending to our needs. Overall, it was just a very disappointing experience. If you're looking for a good sushi/asian restaurant in Greenville, there are several others downtown that I would recommend over Sushigo. I did not try the ramen, but I will say that the ramen looked appetizing at least.

I love this place. The sushi is the best in Greenville, hands down! It’s been a while since I gave them a five star review. So here I am, giving them one more. I’ve referred countless people here and they all love it as much as I do. Beautiful authentic Japanese sushi and cuisine. ❤️

Excellent sushi! Fresh ingredients, speedy service, delicious adult beverages, all served up in a gorgeous, relaxed atmosphere! Definitely recommend if your craving delicious sushi and you’re in the downtown area!

After being loyal to Tsunami on North Street as our go-to downtown sushi spot in Greenville, we elected to give Sushi Go a try.Overall we were disappointed.Upon arrival we were added to the wait list to be seated (15min wait quoted) which was no issue whatsoever - it was Saturday night around 6pm. After standing around for awhile my wife and I were confused as to what the wait was for. It wasn't terribly busy at all. The hostess seemed really stressed out and running all around the restaurant doing small tasks and missing others coming in (picking up and moving a pen on a counter, going behind the bar then coming back out with nothing, etc. - just really seemed like a lot of frantic movement). There were three visible serving staff and one person who only wiped menus the entire time we were there ... the restaurant doesn't have many tables and all were not full. We elected not to sit in the waiting area by the door as it was separated by curtains and didn't want to be forgotten about.40min after arriving we were sat at table that we stood next to when we arrived - it was empty the entire time we waited for it.Our waitress checked in with us quickly and was apologetic for the wait, we weren't stressing over it and we were pleasant thru our entire visit. Standard introductions occurred then the waitress tells us she's sweaty but it won't impact our food ... odd! Of course she had been running food, it was warmer outside and full respect to her working hard (so no issue whatsoever that she was sweating), but it was still odd to turn it into a conversation opener with table guests. We ordered the Sushi & Sashimi dinner and added two avocado rolls. The Avocado rolls came out quick then there was a long delay before the balance of the order came. Three persons were working the sushi station and they seemed backed up. The food was okay, with plate/roll preparation seeming quite rushed. We finished, asked for a received the check quickly, paid and departed. In the end (and in the future) we wished we had just gone to Tsunami which is quite predictable. Too many things were off to recommend Sushi Go to others over Tsunami or Irashiai on Pelham Rd. if you have flexibility to eat outside of downtown proper.

My husband and I were so excited to try SUSHI GO. We read the chef's bio and thought the sashimi and sushi would be top quality. Unfortunately, it was pretty disappointing. I ordered the tuna sashimi, tuna tataki, and Red on White as our appetizers. The tuna tataki was by far the saddest, seared tuna slices I've ever seen, BUT the ponzu sauce was incredible. The R&W was essentially tiny scoops of spicy tuna mix on thin rice puffs - not worth trying TBH. The tuna sashimi was probably the best thing we ordered overall. For sushi, we ordered the Tuna Tuna Tuna, the Kabuki, the Hot Tonight, and an Eel & Cucumber roll. All were extremely mediocre in flavor, and our fried roll came out soggy and much later than our first three rolls did. In all honesty, I didn't find the restaurant impressive and would not go back, especially considering the quality versus price.

Got theSurf and turfTrioHot tonight and crab salad. We only got two of the rolls we ordered and I think they were the hot tonight and trio but what we did get was really good. Other than the crab salad, it was deconstructed and teriyaki which wasn’t what I was expecting. (Hate teriyaki and I guess I missed it in the crab salad description) but you might like it!

First time having actual traditional ramen and it was amazing! Great sushi menu, friendly service and very tasty food!

Sushi was high quality, service was excellent, I had amazing birthday dinner here and can’t wait to come visit again!
