Today I chose Sticky Fingers for dinner after a long day walking the Swamp Rabbit trail. It was a good choice. The menu and food were excellent. They seemed short handed.
Jen, you were the best, most attentive bartender we have had in awhile! Drinks were amazing, food was delicious ? Get those famous wings!! They are no joke! Had great conversation with Jen, and other bar goers. If you are in the area, you need to stop, no if, ands, or buts. We had such a great time chatting, I forgot to take pictures of our meals?
One of our favorite restaurants for Southern food. We started with the deviled eggs appetizer...delicious! My wife got the Sticky Duo with pulled pork and chicken, with potato salad, and loved it. As a vegetarian, I went with the side plate combo...the baked beans and mac and cheese were fantastic. I'll have to try the cole slaw next time. Our server was friendly and helpful, and there are plenty of TV's throughout the place to the watch games. With a convenient location in downtown Greenville, it's a great spot for locals and visitors alike.
We were seated & served immediately by Lester. Kenny made me the most delicious & tender chicken wings! My husband had a delicious brisket plate! Great friendly service! We’ll definitely be back!
We were seated fast. The hostess was very nice. The server was great. The food was delicious. I didn’t care for the devil eggs because the egg was hard but the filling was delicious. I would definitely go back. I love great food and great service.
I have to say I was thoroughly impressed. The service was fantastic and our server was very knowledgeable. Drinks were pretty good, bit heavy on the sour mix, and the food was equally as good. Brisket was easily top 5 but the pulled pork was a bit dry for my liking. The sauces were definitely on par and would absolutely get some to go. The place itself is clean but the chairs, tables, and front entrance/hostess area could use some love/updating.
My family and I stopped in while we were on our way back from a road trip to N.C and the food was so very good. I got ribs and sweet potatoes and they both were so delicious I would come back again and again if I lived closer.
The food itself wasn't terrible for the price. However, the service experience was quite unacceptable (coming from someone whose family also owns a restaurant) I was in town for the holiday season visiting my girlfriend whom is an ICU travel nurse stationed right now in the area and we both appreciate BBQ food and decided to give Sticky Fingers a try. We input our order online, and they called back roughly 15 mins later informing us that they are all out of brisket (disappointing, but it happens. I will not hold that against them) and that they could swap out the brisket for pork, but have no ability to alter payments (brisket is more expensive than pork) so if we wanted to pay actual price for pork or cancel that line item from our order we would have to cancel the order entirely and put in a new order.... in 2021.... As someone whose family owns a restaurant, I know how SIMPLE it is to process a refund or to refund a line item from a PoS (Point of Sale) system. The fact that this is not in place in 2021 is frankly absurd. Continuing on... Since we are driving we are not in the best place to redo our whole order so we just begrudgingly accepted for them to swap out the brisket for pork and pay brisket prices for pork just because of the sheer inconvenience. They then informed us it would be roughly 45 mins, to which it ended up taking roughly an hour. Mind you this was on a Monday night. After getting the food finally and getting home we find that while the taste/etc is solid and enjoyable, the portion sizes were also small... So we paid brisket prices for our pork, had an extended wait, unable to remove our line item aside from a complete re-order and then the portions were small to top it off.. Again as someone whose family owns a restaurant and having worked in the space for years, it blows my mind that not even ONE APOLOGY was given, nor a discount, nor an extra portion of food... Had they simply taken $5 off our order/given us a free dessert/etc/SOMETHING to show that they apologize and value our time/experience it would've sufficed and would have made us feel a whole lot better about the establishment. The fact that they did NOTHING and didn't even offer an apology to me as someone who has a restaurant is appalling and unacceptable customer service. I know firsthand how easy it is when you mess something up or a customer has a poor experience how EASY it is to apologize and give them a small gift in the form of $5 off, extra servings, etc. Just showing you care goes a really long way, and the lack of care or consideration for our time & experience is what ultimately lead me to write this review, and it all could've been resolved with an apology and something as small as $5 off. Extremely disappointing experience overall from Sticky Fingers
Overall, a good experience. The staff is very friendly and the restaurant is clean. The review falls short of 5 stars only because my pulled pork and baked potato were barely warm, as if they had set out a few minutes before being brought to the table. First world problems. I'll go there again the next time I'm in Greenville... that tells you all you need to know.
The ribs are so juicy, tasty and so well cooked that they just fall off the bone... Ribs sampler for two in the picture says it all. They also serve the best cornbread. Recommended if you're roaming around Greenville downtown looking for some great grub at a very reasonable price ??
