Stellaâs is always good. Didnât like the bread change with the mussels. Loved the the dish change with the pork chop. Great atmosphere!
Food was good, the ambience was great. Service was excellent.The part that bums me out, is not a fault of the restaurant, so I'm not removing any stars. We had a large party and rented out the private room. Many people ended up canceling at the last minute (COVID exposure), so we were still on the hook for the rest of the banquet order contract, which I understood. (In hindsight, I should have asked for the dinners I was charged for to go and handed them out to the hotel staff)
We went for brunch on Fatherâs Day, we had a table reserved for inside, but it seemed a bit noisy, and there were tables available outside so they were able to accommodate. It was very nice outside even though it was warm, we were in the shade there was a nice breeze, and the patio was absolutely charming. If it wasnât right on the road it would be perfect, however I did see thereâs a nicer more secluded patio around the other side of the building. The food was outstanding, everything was delicious, and the Carolina reaper bloody Mary was one of the best Iâve had in a while. The menu was a prefix menu for Fatherâs Day so it was hard to gauge the value of the price, Iâd have to go back when the normal menu is in effect. My husband has already declared that he wants to go back, he loved what he had I believe it was steak and eggs. I had the feta quiche, one of the most fluffy moist quiches Iâve ever had. I also opted for the Greek yogurt starter, it was tasty, but it couldâve been a bit more sweet, maybe some more honey on the yogurt.
Booked 8:15 pm thats all that was avail. We felt a bit rushed. They were clearing tables and put us in the middle of the floor. We asked to be moved. Our waiter was great but he was also bartender so he was busy. It was not a great first experience. Disappointed
