The restaurant was very busy which is a good sign. The waiter that we had was super friendly, and made sure we understand the menu. At first I ordered the stir fry and it was super salty so I had it sent back to the kitchen. I then ordered the California wrap and sweet potato fries. It was delicious. My fiancée ordered the two by two, and he really enjoyed it. Would recommend.
The place was clean and the staff was very friendly. Went for breakfast and had no wait, the food came out quickly. I tend to judge places by how well they do biscuits and gravy, I think you have to do simple well. However I took the suggestion of the waitress to get a chorizo bowl instead. It was very good. Certainly worth it. The brewed coffee was tasty and not bitter or stale.I did get a biscuit on the side with gravy and was unimpressed. Very glad I didn’t get it as the meal. A bit of a bummer, but the other food more than made up for it.
I usually like Stax Omega, It is close to my home, the food is good, and the service is friendly. That said, today was my 3rd visit in 3 days at Stax. Today was a business meeting with 2 prospects for coffee/drinks. While we usually spend over$50 on visits, today would be different and I informed the server in advance (and tipped like it was a $65 meal. After about 1 1/2 hours, a rude gentleman arrived at our table and basically asked us to leave because he needed to turn the table to "eating customers". He stated that if we just wanted coffee, we should go to the bar. VERY RUDE.
Just as the title says. And they are (like any other restaurant) short on staff, so be prepared to wait for your order & food. They turn on the southern charm to go along with their southern style food menu. If we return to this area again, I will prolly look for another breakfast place online before we get there. Not that this place was bad, but just overpriced.
Every time I go here, I have a wonderful time. staff is excellent and the wait time to be seated is always reasonable. excellent place
I have been there twice in last ten days and sat at the counter both times withe same waitress for breakfast. Tall thin and pregnant. Both times every one sitting at the counter we had to to ask for a refill of coffee. She would give the person who asked for a refill and then walk away then some one else would ask and then do the same thing and some one else would ask. Never once would she asked if anyone else wanted more coffee. That lets to poor tips for poor service.

Its been a while since I've gotten to eat here, but wow! I'm blown away every time with the quality of food and amazing service this diner offers.Brought mom mom today and she got a burger with fries and finished her meal with cheesecake! Yum!I got stuffed cabbage and wow, I wish I could get it any day of the week. Best stuffed cabbage I've had that wasn't my own.Sarah/Marie was an incredible server. She really made sure everything was perfect and did an excellent job taking care of us, give that lovely gal a raise! She deserves it!The baklava was good too! Not many places add pistachios, so that was a fantastic touch. The cheesecake wasn't overloaded with sweetness, and was very savory, definitely a place I will come back to again and again!
Delicious food in a clean, upscale environment with friendly staff. Excellent bakery full of over the top cake selections! A little pricey though.
What a awesome experience! Long line but a shirt wait. Maybe 10 people in front of us and we waited close to 15 minutes tops. Friendly staff and a really great waitress. I typically always get multiple full sized breakfast plates. These two put a hurting on me. It was all I could do to finish them hahaI can't wait to go back. Thanks guys!!
