They have good food, great biscuits, good cornbread (not too sweet), and always fresh made cake. The price of food also includes the beverage.
I had soupy chicken salad with soupy cold slaw. I have had better food in the Hospital. Obviously everything pre made for volume service, homemade never in their sight line. There spring salad looked good, order something that need hands on to make. Also their Webb page needs updating, pieces have doubled.
I love coming to fried green tomatoes. Shirley is always so sweet. Can’t go wrong with biscuits, corn bread, meat and threes. The food is sometimes salty, but I still come for more!!

I booked their banquet room for a surprise baby shower. I was allowed to come in two hours early to decorate. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience! The staff was super friendly, the food was great and everyone absolutely adored our sweet server Maddie! She was amazing and made our experience a memorable one! I highly recommend booking their banquet room for large parties! You won’t be disappointed!
We stopped in for a quick dinner on a Saturday night. We got there at 6:25 and even though they closed at 7 PM, they were very nice and got us exactly what we wanted. They brought out fantastic biscuits n corn bread before our entrees arrived. We ordered baked chicken with mac n cheese and then the fried pork chop with mac n cheese and green beans. We could get our own drinks. The food was good, hot and very reasonably prices. Nothing fancy but good food and very nice servers.
Seriously excellent. So well prepared, 100% scratch made and outstanding on every level. Wish we had one in Charlotte. Bravo!
I called them on New Years Day, asked if I could order collard greens ect. I had been working so much didnt have time to fix any. They helped me from start to finish! Courteous and was very thorough! Home I prepared everything out for my family to eat and I have to say their collard greens and grilled ham, was amazing! Huge hit with my family! Thank you to this staff for rescuing my new years dinner and amazing food! Would recommend to anyone!
