Just had a terrible customer service experience. This store often has stalls closed apparently due to staff shortages. I placed an order on Sonic App for a hot dog and drink and drove over at 12:30pm. Sometimes you can’t order on the app at this location but today it was available so I assumed stalls were open. However, signs were up that they were closed and the drive thru line was long so I went to the manual ordering station to ask for the order to be brought out. To cut a long, long story short: • The person on intercom (the manager) told me I had to use drive thru • I explained I didn’t have 15 min to wait and could they not bring it out? • She asked what stall I was in and because I couldn’t give the number immediately she told me I had to drive thru and disconnected • I was patient and sat in line for about 5 min with little progress, then decided to ask again for it to be brought out • Finally the drive-through assistant (Rebecca) brought out my hot dog but said they didn’t have an ingredient for my Sour Patch Kids drink but didn’t offer a solution. I explained I was fine with some other drink but she told me that they couldn’t offer a substitute. Instead I’d have to call some 1-800 number to get my refund. I politely said that wasn’t acceptable and she went back inside to check what to do. • After 5 min of no contact I buzzed again and got the manager. She restated that I couldn’t have a substitute and I had to call the number. I said that wasn’t right and I needed a drink or my $3. She said, fine, come through drive thru. I explained that I didn’t have the time and I needed to have someone bring out my money or a drink. She then told me she couldn’t serve me since I was being rude (I absolutely wasn’t, she was instead) and disconnected. • There was no vehicle at the window so I stood nearby and told Rebecca that I needed some help. She told me I needed to move away from the window or they’d call the police. I explained I would be willing to come through drive thru and would wait until they gave me a drink or my $3 and wouldn’t move till they did. • I sat in my truck to eat the hot dog and 5 min later Rebecca came out to offer another drink. I said I’d take whatever and she happily got me a substitute. I thanked her for her help, however, with the attitude, etc. of the manger I was hesitant to drink it and sadly dumped it for my own safety. This store was worth visiting a couple of years ago. Since COVID, not worth the time or effort sadly.

P*ss poor customer service! Literally pulled in to the parking spot to ask for a to go order and was told drive through only. I told them I'm just getting a to go order and still have to sit in drive through. Finally 6 cars later I get to the speaker and tell them again and they tell me to pull around to the front and wait so we can bring it out to you? Like WTH? That's the most backwards service I've ever seen. Why didn't they just do that the first time?

One person working. Would take an order and prepare it before taking the next order. Took 25 minutes to get three burgers and sides. Ordered the “featured” bacon on bacon burgers and no bacon on any of them.

I enjoy Sonic's food, but at this location it was not a good experience. I used a coupon I had on the app, but after paying for it and waiting 30-40 minutes at the stall, we had to go through the drive thru to ask about the order. After sitting in the drive thru for another 10-15 minutes, I finally got my burger which wasn't even hot. Also should mention that they're ice cream machine was down, do we didn't get our shakes after waiting for so long because of it.

Avoid!!! Worst sonic in Greenville, SC!! They serve you cold fries and do not clean their milkshake machine!! I was ordered a Oreo cheesecake milkshake that had chocolate in it!! The whole milkshake was brown didn’t even taste like vanilla or Oreo at all just pure chocolate!!! I told them something wasn’t right with it from the moment I looked at it something was not right! I order this shake all the time never have I ever seen it served with chocolate! They refused to fix my shake! Waste of money and my time! The staff here is unbelievably rude and dishonest! I would seriously avoid this location!!!

Warning!!!! Did a mobile order and waited 30 min. Only to join the very long drive thru line,non moving line. It will be an hour by the time we do get to the window. No one answers the phone or door. Customer service is useless. No way to request a refund. I understand being short staffed is part of the problem but honestly shut the stalls or mobile app down if you aren’t going to serve your customers!

Every single time I come here there has always been some kind of issue. Most of the time my order is wrong but last night was a brand new one. I arrived around 8:30 and tried to order on the patio. After pressing the red button to order I waited for 3 minutes before we were “greeted” and I couldn’t understand anything the guy said. All I know is we were refused service for no reason and the guy signed off the headset before I could even ask what he said. I worked for sonic for four and a half years in high school, this was unacceptable. If I could give zero stars then I would.

She was the only person I seen in the whole restaurant! her service was amazing. She was caring, didn't rush me or cut me off when I was ordering. ( Which made the ordering process quick) and there were no errors in my order. I did not have to ask for straws, napkins, and she even asked me if I wanted a cup holder. (Which is a huge deal!) Most places assume you don't want one unless you ask for one, even if you have more than two drinks. ( Asking if the customer wants a cup holder if they have more than two drinks, and not rushing the customer or cutting the customer off while they are ordering speeds every thing up, and makes people want to return. Especially if they if the order is exactly how the customer wanted it or ordered it. ) This Sonic has been my favorite Sonic for 3 years now. 10-10? ???

If I could give zero I would. I ordered on the app. Got there no sizes and lights all on. Parked in a stall so my account was charged. Say for a while no answer. Moved to the drive through again nothing. No one there waste of 30 minutes and what I spent on the order. Wonder how much money they are getting this way.

We ordered at this location through the app since it’s a quicker convenient way, once we arrived ONLY drive through was open and the line was way back out and barley moving. Since we already placed the orders there was no way to cancel or get my money back. By the time we actually got to the window our food was cold and nasty. If only drive through is open they need to make sure we know that when placing the order, or else open the stalls only to people with Mobile orders. Very disappointed wasted a lot of time. Second bad experience at this sonic.
