I need to start off by saying that I grew up in the restaurant business, specifically family owned Cuban restaurants. The name says it all “Sofrito,” the basis of all excellent Latin cuisine. The flavors…. Dios Mio Que Rico! The pork… tender and savory, absolutely delicious. The steak dinner and presentation rivals any of the better restaurants in Greenville and at a bargain price. I’m embarrassed to admit that the first time there had us coming back another two times in 10 days. In total the three of us have had quite a few of the dishes in their menu and each one was excellent! I highly recommend the Seafood Stew, it’s absolutely delicious! The Mofongos are above par.., the crunchy salty real pork grinds and sweet plantains To die good! Their bartenders are crazy good. My fav… guava margarita or pina colada on the rocks, nothing like it anywhere else unless your traveling to the Caribbean. Friendly service and kind folks, your sure to love it. Enjoy Peeps!

The food truck came to our neighborhood tonight. I ordered the steak sandwich and fries. My total was $14.04 and I gave him $20. He gave me back $5 and said he didn’t have change. If you owe me 96 cents, seems you should be the one shorted 4 cents and not me 96 cents. But whatever. I would have put the $1 in the tip jar. After 15 minutes or so, he let’s me know he can’t make my sandwich because he’s out of bread. I say ok, I’ll take a steak bowl. He says he can’t make that be

Drove to Sofrito in Greenville from Hendersonville to celebrate a friend's birthday. We went early so we could drive the hour back before it got too late. Restaurant was relatively crowded for a Sunday, but it was Father's Day. The food was very good, portions were huge, and I felt that the prices were in line with the amount of food you got and the quality of the dishes. Drinks were just OK, I had a mojito and it tasted like they forgot the alcohol. There isn't a viable Latin food option in our area, so I would definitely go back to Sofrito again.

The food was flavorful and the service was great!! Highly recommend!

We really enjoyed our visit here.. great food.. great drinks… great dessert.. complete package

So good! Fresh Latin food. Good portions and reasonably priced with lots of flavor. The seafood ceviche was amazing. Mahi mahi was really good too. Hard to get excited about black beans and rice but they were a great side. We’ll definitely be back.

I’m partial to the mofungo. I had the Pork traditional.

Great value buffet. Everything is pretty good. The sushi isn't like you get at a nice sushi bar but it won't kill you. The one thing i don't like is they changed his they make the coconut shrimp. It used to be so sweet and tasty. Not so sweet and not so tasty anymore. Surprisingly they have great fried chicken, go figure.

Went there Friday night to celebrate a special occasion. Reviews looked promising and the menu looked great. I feel bad for the restaurant owners who are genuinely putting in effort to provide a good experience to the customer and yet, all this is in vain if you have a server like Claudia.Claudia is probably the worst server I have ever had. I couldn't believe that I was reading her name tag she was even a manager. She took our drinks order and appetizers. Brought them about 5 min later and then disappeared for 30 minutes. We never got additional chips, our queso became cold and hard. Everyone wanted to reorder cocktails but that was too much to ask from Claudia. We asked to be moved inside and we saw Claudia just chit chatting at the bar with her friend. How can you be so bad at your job?The food took around 45 minutes to arrive at our table. The order was wrong but not to an extreme amount so we didn't say anything. When I asked if it was normal to wait 45 minutes to get your food Claudia said yes, so keep in mind if you want to eat at a decent pace, this place isn't for you.The tacos were very soggy but the other items we ordered were actually decent. Too bad our experience was ruined by Claudia.

My husband & I decided to try Sofrito for ‘date night’ and we were not disappointed. Our server Jair was super friendly, attentive, and super efficient. He even apologized for the meal being a bit delayed (kitchen short staffed). This is understandable, things happen but we truly appreciated him explaining the issue to us. My paella was bountiful and tasty. My husband’s ropavieja was juicy and delicious. Can’t wait to come back for Sunday brunch! :)
