If you need to host a small/medium sized event downtown, with yummy food, excellent service with a cool factor, this is the place! I was able to reserve the top floor for a private event and it was executed flawlessly! The team was on it from the moment we walked in to set up. The guest of honor was blown away and our guests seemed to enjoy the atmosphere. Thank you Jeremy, Samantha and the entire staff who helped made the event a huge success!
Cool spot with good drinks. I was determined to come to try the voodoo ramen, and it was ok! It was like gumbo, but with ramen instead of rice. I think it could benefit from studying Japanese cuisine more and preparing the broth and ramen in a way that enhances texture and umami flavor. But it's a fun experiment and it's inspired me to try it at home.
Food was better than expected. The highlight was the cheesy pickup lines appetizer. Would definitely come back.
I love when a restaurant lives up to the hype. As you walk in it feels like an old school diner which maybe leftover from the restaurant who called this home prior to Society opening. It was seat yourself and for 5:45 on a Tuesday night most of the booths were open with a fairly full bar. We migrated upstairs however which is pretty much the same scene just a bit more activity. Plus Oscar was bartending upstairs and it’s worth going for his inventive cocktails alone. I had the Yellow Jacket which Oscar created and if you’re a fan of Mezcal this is the perfect drink. My husband drink several options and really enjoyed the Spiked Soda Bottles. We stuck to the appetizers since we were on a time crunch going to see a show at the Peace Center. If you order anything get the Huevos Rancheros Fries! This is bar food on another level. I couldn’t stop eating them and kept mentioning how great they would be late at night. The Philly Cheese Egg rolls were awesome, I could have used more of the cheese sauce for dipping. We also tried the ceviche which itself was amazing but the chips served with it were hard to eat with the ceviche. I kept thinking pork rinds would be a fun alternative not that we let that stop us because I just used a fork and finished it off.We will definitely be back to try the sandwiches!
I always get the same thing here, and I'm never tired of it. it's the Hawaiian Jerk Chicken Fries ??? it's literally enough to feed two people. The Bahama Mama is a good drink too!!
Drinks were great and bar tender was amazing. Never did get a server so we ordered from the bar and she delivered it to us and was very apologetic. Would have 5 stars if we had a server. One thing to note... sandwiches are very small. They are priced right so I can't knock them for it. Just be aware if your ordering take out, you will probably want 2.
So to start just putting it out there the service was okay. The waitress was constantly running around and this shouldn't reflect poorly on her. But when it comes to everything else you have better options to choose from. The wait time was awful. Waited almost an hour to receive food, and that's after waiting a half hour for orders to be taken. Now that wait could be worth it if the food quality was good, but I just wasn't. Every order was in some part or another incorrect and vastly overpriced for the portion sizes. The drinks are vastly overpriced too but that's to be expected. So moral of the story? Go elsewhere unless the owner can remedy this
Quaint and simple little sandwich shop. Has a nice classic diner setting with a large bar and a hand full of booths. I recommend an initial visit as the menu will surprise you. I highly recommend the Ramen as it was top notch. Not recommend for little ones, or groups larger than 4. This does have late night food for those bar hoping.
Awesome spot in Greenville. Our party of 6 was able to get in quick with no reservations. Everything we ordered was fantastic.
I can't say enough good things about this place. Their drinks are phenomenal (special shout out to Jenny at the bar) and everything on their menu is a must try. It's the perfect spot for date night or meeting up with friends.
