The good: Prices are reasonable for food and drinks, and the specialty drinks are really good. The bartender was awesome. BBQ sauce choices are really good. Not so good: It was just two of us. They said 25 min for a table, which turned into an hour wait. The smoked meats were clearly not fresh, both brisket and ribs were dry. My waiter forgot to bring our appetizers which literally never came so I had to ask to remove them from the bill. The cornbread is terrible.

Came in to order carry out. Got “The Greens Monster” salad and loved it so much that I went back again the next night and ordered the exact same thing. I am in Greenville often for work and would absolutely eat here again and again!

Made a reservation for our group, BUT......... had to wait over 40 minutes to be seated, then another 45+ for drinks to be served & then another 45 for food -- what a shame!!

Horrible hostess staff & wait time! Called ahead for party of 5 & was told shorter wait time for call ahead. Arrived & was told 30-45 min wait. Checked with hostess after 30 min…5th on the list. Checked with hostess after over an hour & 3rd down. How in the world do we move up two spots in 45 min and 6 tables were sat!? Hostess said they were just trying to clean tables. What kind is logic is that!? The food better be good…

Hadn't been in a while so me and my lady stopped by. I usually take my food to go, but decided for the first time to dine in. Atmosphere was nice. Food was pretty good also! I went for the brisket, but almost left because I didn't see it on the menu. But, there are a few items that arent on the menu but are available like the brisket and the shrimp & grits. Of the 4 BBQ sauces to choose from, I really liked the mustard-based one best. They also have a Carolina-style cayenne vinegar based one, a sweeter tasting one, and a tomato based one.

Busy place. I didn’t feel like BBQ so I got the crab cakes. I was disappointed that they were heavily breaded and deep fried. The inside was a lot of breading also…however, my sides were very good, the spinach casserole and the baked beans. We also got boiled shrimp appetizer & they were great!

Food is really good, but the management is a mess. A server fell and hit her head. I think she actually slipped on a wet floor. She was knocked out and it took the leadership about 5 minutes to get over. Once she came over, she moved her when she was still obviously dizzy. Probably has a head injury. She then told us to mind our own business. We will never be back and this used to be a restaurant we always brought our out of town friends to. Not any more. I am happy to be a witness for the Workers Comp suit.

For a super busy place the service was excellent. Decently priced. The only reason i gove it 4 stars instead of 5 stars is our drink had black specks in it. Im not sure if it was due to the lines or glasses being clean but we definitely had to have them exchanged out. Alcohol was decently priced with daily deals... $3 drinks. The presentation of the food was great and the taste was perfect. Definitely will return. May just have been a off day due to the crowd...so im not mad. Waitress was kind, attentive, and knowledgeable. A good diner spot or date place. Does have a kids menu as well.

Ate lunch here on a Saturday. The wait for 3 was about 1 hour 45mins. We put our name on the list using the online waitlist found on google. We sat outside on the patio, which was nice because it was a sunny day with a slight breeze. Our waitress was great, she brought out our drinks and some cornbread shortly after we were seated. We ordered an appetizer and three meals. Unfortunately the food came out before the appetizer. The pulled pork sandwich was cold when it came out and was dry. Chicken salad was just okay. On the other hand, the sweet potato tots and pimento cheese appetizers were great! Prices were good for the food choices and for it to be a restaurant in downtown Greenville.

Food was very good but restaurant was extremely noisy. I do recommend the deep fried mashed potato ball.
