LOL I love it here but dang, turn the music down some and maybe mix in more variety. Sharkey's used to be better but you can't go wrong here regardless. However, the ringing in your ears after leaving this place MIGHT make you second guess going in. They do have good food and drinks though and the bartenders are really cool.
Sharkey's is exquisitely delicious. Absolutely great service with a wonderful staff, serving good food and, a huge serving of good Ole Southern Hospitality. Come on down and experience a great dining experience for yourself. You will not be disappointed.
IF you like loud, jamming music that you can dance to and really get into provded by a thunderous live drummer, a spinmaster working the turntables and some other guy then this is the place to be!!! At first the dance floor was empty except for this one young guy who was totally into the beat all by lonesome but he didn't have care in the world but by the time we left the floor was so thick with people that you couldn't slide a piece of paper between them.
Great music, soulful, only a little options on draft, kitchen closed at 9 on a holiday weekend (Easter) disappointed, but gonna finish this beer and go somewhere else.
Drinks are great here, karaoke on Mondays with Bruce doesn't get overly crowded, so you can sing five to six times in an evening, usually. I am hoping they will stock up on their bloody mary mix soon. I've been asking about it for a few months now.
Great place for a cold brew. People there were cool and our group had a good time hanging out there.
We had a really fun time in the bar however that changed as soon as we went to the bathrooms. It smelled of sewage so badly that it actually made us gag and ultimately puke while finishing up in the bathroom. It was a huge buzzkill and ended the night way too soon.
This used to be my favorite bar downtown, but the last time I walked in there, it literally smelled like a sewage plant. I walked right back out.
Let me just tell you... I went into this in desperate need of a beer and a good time.I got both.And my bar tab wasn't insane either -- granted, I stuck to beer, but still.Live music, cool vibe. This was the perfect after-concert party spot.
Worst bartenders ever tonight (2/19), we waited quietly and patiently for over 20min while they served others that arrived after us. Only reason we can figure for not getting served is because I was in a suit, idk (not normal attire for us). We had great service from all other places downtown tonight, except for this place. We especially had the worst service from the attitudinal girl with bulbous tattoos up her back. Literally the worst ever bartender we have ever experienced out of THOUSANDS! We left after it became apparent we weren’t going to get served. Ruined the night. We would have tipped well.
