Best bbq I've ever had! We shared the Judges Plate and the flavor was incredible! Everything was so tender, especially the brisket. The sides were amazing! Collards, sweet potato crunch, S.O.B. beans, and the poblano corn brulee was unlike anything I've ever had before!! So delicious!! Plus the friendliest staff!!This will be my #1 stop every time I travel to Greenville. Give this place a try. I promise it will be your favorite too.
Can't believe we just found out about SBH BBQ. We had an excellent meal today and can't wait to eat there again. I had the brisket dinner and the brisket was outstanding! My husband had the brisket sandwich. He didn't realize it came with melted provolone cheese...he'll ask for "no cheese" the next time. We've been to many Texas BBQ restaurants (including the Salt Lick) and SBH beats them all! For those who mentioned that the prices are high, well, check out the meat prices at your local grocery or Costco...out of sight! Before we were done with our meal we ordered a pound of brisket to take home. The $24 per pound is worth every dollar and you get enough for about four sandwiches.
We ordered take out. Our order included the pork, full slab ribs, baked beans, and cole slaw. The pork was a little dry, beans were somewhat thick but tasted great, cole slaw was excellent, and the ribs were fantastic! This was our first time eating from here but definitely won't be our last. They have the best ribs in Greenville!! They may be a little pricey but so worth it!
Had an absolute amazing time here and highly recommend it. Had a seat at the bar and had Ashton serve me a drink that she recommended and also what food was good to get. I don’t normally drink but was blown away with her wonderful suggestions! 10/10 would go again!
On the recommendation of a friend and months of driving by. I finally made it by S.B.H. BBQ for take out tonight. I ordered the Judges plate with a side of mac n cheese and sweet BBQ sauce.It. Was. Fantastic!Brisket had a nice smoke ring around it. It was fall apart tender and melted in your mouth. Ribs were fall off the bone delicious. The spicy sausage was excellent. Pork was mouth watering and full of delicious smoke flavor. All was complimented by the sweet BBQ sauce and max n cheese. I can't wait to come back and dine in. And you should get there ASAP if you have not been yet.
BEST BBQ I HAVE HAD BETWEEN GEORGIA, SOUTH CAROLINA, AND NORTH CAROLINA.the bbq sauces both the sweet and the house were amazing and really added alot to the different types of meats. Mac and cheese was amazing I could of eaten a bowl of that itself. If you find your self near Greenville on 85 go.... go there right away!
Visiting Greenville for one night and needed a place to eat that we could walk from the hotel. After seeing reviews and asking about SBH BBQ, we went for dinner and were not disappointed. The Sweaty Pig sandwich was delicious and very filling. The chicken nachos had tons of toppings and were very flavorful. We also tried the briscuit/Mac n cheese egg roll and the sweet potato crunch. Again, delicious. April, our server, and Brock, the manager, were friendly and fun to talk to. From the time we walked in the door, we felt very welcome. If you get the chance to visit SBH, don’t miss out!
Amazing brisket and ribs! Some of the best I've had. They melt in your mouth. The sauces were good but you really don't need them. Must try.
Visited on a Sunday afternoon just before closing. Although several items were sold out, we enjoyed the pulled pork sandwiches. We got one Carolina and one Sweaty Pig. Both came on nicely toasted Brioche buns along one side. BF loved the spicy BBQ sauce and fried jalapenos coupled with cool cole slaw on his Sweaty Pig. I had the Carolina with competition BBQ sauce topped with cole slaw. For sides, we had Mac and cheese and baked beans. Both are recommended but the baked beans were outstanding. Creamy and thick.
I came to Greenville for 2 weeks for work and we went to SBH 7 TIMES YALL. The owner (I think he was the owner) even recognized us and asked if we were making it an every day thing ? I live in rural Virginia and when I tell you BBQ is a staple it is and I’ve been to a lot of different places. I have NEVER had ribs, brisket, and bbq better than SBH. The ribs are so good we made at least 4-5 other people go with us during our stay to try them. The brisket is moist and literally melts in your mouth. They give you house sauce to use with it but I tried it. It’s amaZing but I didn’t even use it. The meat itself is all you need. I even brought some all the way back to VA just for my fiancé to try. It’s almost actually it IS worth the 3 hours drive JUST TO GET SOME. ? They are fast, friendly, the location is beautiful, they have outdoor seating, a bar, and the store is full of so many much deserved awards. I can’t WAIT to go back. Do yourself a favor and get in your car right now and head that way!
