Had to twist it up and ate some wild game for our anniversary dinner tonight. Safe to say we finally experienced ostrich, kangaroo, venison, Buffalo, and duck. The ambiance was amazing and service was excellent. The owner Mr. Edmund greeted us and sat us to our table. He has my deepest respect. Most owners do not interact as much as he does to his guests. They were very personable during our visit for our anniversary. Our waitress, Jessica was excellent and always checked in on us. The food was extravagant. We had the Wild Game Sampler which consisted of 3oz each of Buffalo, duck, and venison plus chips and creamed spinach dip. For entrees we had the Huntsman platter which included the venison chop, kangaroo, and ostrich. I was surprised that I loved each and every one of the meats since it was my first time eating them. To top it off, we had the chocolate mousse cake and the bread pudding. Thank you for making our 2nd year anniversary memorable!

Most of the food was luke warm at best. The shrimp and chicken skewers were barely warm and the spinach dip on top of the nachos was so cold that they all stuck together. Not what we were expecting for $175. We tried every meat from Kangaroo, Ostrich, Lamb, Buffalo and Venison and hands down the New York Strip was the best because it was hot off the grill. The servers were amazing and we love how they have a herb garden and grow their own Vegtables. They need a better food warmer or faster delivery of food to table and they would have gotten 5 stars.

Even back when they were a little hole in the wall,Saskatoon has always been a wonderful venue for all occasions. The beautiful grounds they have built is a compliment to the outstanding food, drinks and service. I have eaten at least 50 meals at Saskatoon with friends and family and have NEVER had a bad meal. Tonight we celebrated my youngest daughter's Graduation and they made it a wonderful celebration. This is a place where you are part of the family

Found this place on Google when looking for something different to try. My fiancé, son and I shared the wild game sampler and it was amazing! I was a little scared to try it, but the buffalo was great. My fiancé ordered the buffalo sirloin with the garlic mashed potatoes. He said it was amazing. Our son had the sirloin from the Tame Game section and he destroyed that 10oz steak. I ordered the pecan crusted salmon. Also very tasty but not very adventurous. The staff here is incredibly friendly and very knowledgeable of the menu and give honest feedback about the menu choices. We had an 8:30p reservation and were seated almost immediately.

Wow! I was so impressed with our visit on Friday night with an 8:30 reservation. We arrived at 8:20 and were promptly seated. The host was very pleasant and engaging. Our waiter Chris was wonderful and very knowledgeable of the menu, dishes, beer, drinks and wine. The food was great and the overall experience was one that made us want to return...and we shall. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Our first in person restaurant visit since Covid. We were so anticipating a wonderful evening with a fabulous meal…not so. My husband’s meal was basically inedible with potato wedges so hard he thought he’d break a tooth. My potatoes were in a word “nasty”. There isn’t room enough for my complaints but spending $160 for a meal so awful assures us that we will never return. And by the way we are well traveled people with many years of dining experience. Can’t do justice to how awful it was with limited space. Insulting and disgusting. The wait staff doesn’t deserve to have to listen to complaints that the kitchen staff is responsible for therefore we didn’t complain to our server. We also didn’t want to make a scene by calling out the manager. Really really disappointed.

Our experience was amazing! The wait staff and Jessica took care of us! I had the Elk and my husband had the Buffalo ribeye. I can't do potatoes but that was ok, I got double veggies! Definitely will be back!

Fantastic food with great service. I ordered the wild game sampler and elk tenderloin. Both were delicious. The elk had somewhat of a smokey teriyaki flavor and the sampler included duck, boar, and venison which was nicely flavored as well. The price was on the higher side but it was a great experience overall and the waitress took care of us. It feels cozy and warm inside like you are visiting a lodge. Will return in the future.

My wife and I visited the new location for the first time on March 5th, 2022, for my Birthday dinner. What an unbelievable new location. Grand and spacious, yet still warm and cozy. Our reservations were for 7:00 and we were seated at ten till.We ordered drinks and an appetizer. Creamy spinach & bacon with tortilla chips. Our entrees were The Huntsman and the Pork Tenderloin. The Pork Tenderloin was tender and well prepared. The Huntsman consisted of Venison Chop, Kangaroo Loin and Ostrich. All were wonderfully prepared, but the venison chop was by far the star of the plate. Incredibly tender. There was a small hiccup when the server placed our order and two completely wrong meals were brought to the table. The issue was quickly righted without us saying a thing and they also treated us with free deserts of Cheesecake and Carrot cake.We not only will be back, but highly suggest you make it there too.

This is a huge place. It has lodge decor & nice fireplaces. Unfortunately, were seated in an awful corner with a tiny two person table in a walkway. We barely had any room to scoot our chairs back. This was very disappointing and uncomfortable. I did not like sitting in this location. We got the Sampler for two appetizer which was good. I got trout(they do not have cocktail sauce)which was amazing and my friend got a filet. The issue was with the vegetables that came with the meal. They were not cooked. The green beans and the tiny slice of sweet potato were raw. There was also a slice of red bell pepper that was tasteless. Apparently they are just using the vegetables as a garnish to look at, but I like to eat my vegetables. Me & my friend had to just leave them…
