So tonight I thought long and hard about making this review because usually I try and give them the opportunity to redeem themselves but seeing as how this isn't the first time I have been here, but will be the last time we ever come I decided to share my experience. Upon entering the restaurant we were greeted by 2 nice hostesses. However the issues started once we got seated. The waiter a man in his late 30s or mid 40s a little on the heavier side tended to us. After he brought our drinks back he asked if we were ready and we asked for a moment more then my husband asked for a modelo. The waiter said I need your ID in a rude way. Well my husband left it outside in the truck and the waiter replied with an attitude "you have time go get it". We understand the law about ID'S so it was not that big of a issue the problem was the waiters attitude.... Well my husband said nevermind and we started ordering our food. Typically I get the sampler for my meal but I wanted to try something different so when I asked the waiter in spanish if the chicken tortilla soup was good he responded in spanish.... "it's good for white people, we are her to cater to Americans not Latinos so we serve food more pleasing to American people, its not something a Latino would find appetizing." Mind you I'm a very white American and my husband is a very Hispanic Mexican/Latino and well our child is biracial. So he once again was sure to repeat they are there to cater to the likes of white Americans not Latinos. The whole conversation rubbed me the wrong way. I felt like he was trying to say something about us in general. Well after a few seconds I decided we would not waste our money where we would be treated like lesser people. I went to the front and told the hostess I wanted to cancel the order and she was shocked and the waiter walks up and says oh you want to cancel the order he smirks then commences to ball up our ticket. I pray he is not management because if so you really need to reevaluate your team. I have come in with non hispanic people and never been treated that way. However for this man to be so disrespectful to me and my family while we just wanted dinner was uncalled for. I hope you reevaluate your team and fix the issue all of your clients should be treated equally and with respect.
The food in my opinion is pretty good and the service was excellent. However, the fact that the restaurant allows smoking in the bar area is a huge reason why I might never return. We sat in the farthest section away from the bar and could still smell it. It took my appetite away. I definitely don’t want my child eating in there and being exposed to the smoke.
My husband and I were in the mood for Mexican but didn’t know where to go, so of course we go to GOOGLE. We read through the reviews and decided to give it a try, glad we did. The food is amazing, it wasn’t dry it had flavor and we were taken care of. We weren’t rushed and our waiter was amazing and answered all of our questions. We will definitely be back here.
So the food was decent. It isn't break your brain amazing, but it's definitely good enough to eat over and over.The sad story of this place was the smoking that is allowed in the bar. It's 2022, who the hell allows smoking in a non-tobacco shop setting? And calling it a designated smoking area when everyone has to walk through it to use the bathroom is simply awful. Between this and the fact that they could barely handle our party of 12, we probably will only return for takeout.Owner Response: So sorry your experience wasn’t what you expected, please next time call ahead with the total of guests in your party and we will try to accommodate your party. We experienced a higher than normal guests at the particular time you visited. We try to plan and schedule enough help but nowadays with staffing shortage and uncertainty of volume. We do the best we can, I know the staff does the best they can. Unlike other Restaurants We would rather you sit at a table, enjoy chips and salsa and a drink and wait than wait 1-2 hours for a table in the lobby till the waiters are ready to serve you. We welcome you to return for dine-in or take out. Have a wonderful day.Response to Owner: Our group wanted to sit at the bar and have a drink because it was a work gathering and we didn't know how many people were coming. Between the smoke and the fact that the waiter came over to tell the bartender that we needed to sit at the table in order to get drinks, we did not feel welcome to sit there. You should definitely focus more on the complaint about forcing customers to walk through the smoking section to use the bathroom than anything else in this review. Our pregnant guest and the three children really appreciated it.
This place is Amazing!!! The salsa is so fresh and good you can’t stop eating it! The chips were fresh and the fajitas for two was so good, the meat was well flavored and plenty on the portion size for two people. I can’t wait to come back real soon!!! We were just giving it a try and it was so worth it!

I have been friends with this family for 18 years and love them as family! This is by far the best Mexican Resturaunt we have ever been too! We have traveled all over the country and nothing compares! Their food is fantastic especially their chimichangas friendly great service overall a10 on everything!!!!!!!
We love this place! Hands down the best service and food in town. Have come here for years and I watch when people come in they are all treated graciously.
