Great experience at this location. There was a small lime to order when we arrived but it moved at a reasonable pace. They have menus available near the door so you can look while you wait. The chicken on the bone and fried chicken strips were both amazing! They had so much flavor and were very juicy! The have a good number of options for spice levels with everything from plain to extra hot (which is verrrryyy hot). Fairly large indoor seating area as well as a covered patio outside with several tables. Food came to the table warm and fresh. After eating the staff cleans the tables and were doing a good job keeping tables cleaned for people coming in to order.
This place is absolutely top notch. It will become a greenville staple. All three times my family and I have gone it has been consistently great. I will continue to patron the chicken shack!
Love this place! Definitely a must visit when in Greenville. I love spice and have a high tolerance but man is the Rocky's Hot flavor HOT! Definitely not for the faint. Try something in the lower tier of flavor and gradually go up. Meats are juicy and flavorful. Portions are big as well!
This was our first visit and it was so good!! We have been checking out things in the area and happened across this place. I got the sandwich of the day and my wife got the palmetto BLT. They both where great and the blue cheese dip was my favorite.
Rocky’s is always on their game. Food is always amazing and tasty. but WHAT is this chicken dip guys?! I always order this and it’s a “chicken salad” consistency- shredded chicken, easy to dip etc. Smooth and a DIP. What i received tonight was large chunks of chicken smothered in sauce. I could’ve eaten it with a fork. It’s not a dip and i could not eat it with my chips. Honestly ridiculous and disappointing as I was so looking forward to my favorite dip.
Great comfort food. Yummy chicken, honey mild is my favorite! Also includes good vegetarian options.
Today was our first visit, but definitely not the last. There was a little bit of a line when we arrived, but it went pretty quickly. Our party ordered chicken tenders, rotisserie chicken and wings. Our sides included mashed potatoes and gravy, mac and cheese, sweet potato casserole and fries. Every single thing was delicious and the portions were plentiful. The wait time was to be expected for a busy Friday night. The place was clean and well kept. The staff were friendly and willing to help with whatever we needed. Convenient location, too. Close to downtown but without all the traffic. Definitely must give it a try!
Brought out something different than what I ordered. Waiter just brushed me off. Ordered honey mild and the brought me mild chicken. The waiter brought me a bawl if honey. Are you kidding me!
Most of the staff were very friendly but the “manager “ is as rude as they come.
This was my second time eating here and once again they knocked it out of the park. The food was delicious and the service was top notch. Pricing was more than fair especially given the portions and friendly atmosphere. I plan to put this spot on my frequent dining list. Maybe I will see you there ?
