This has been one of our Favâs for years. However, yesterday when taking guests it was average primarily due to the server being under trained as compared to all others we have had. Interrupted conversations immediately on coming to the table, dropped food on the floor, and reached across the table for plates i stead of simply coming behind everyone. Not up to the level we expected there. My kabob combination ($29) was a bit under seasoned and less vibrant taste wise than previously. The starters (hummus & 2 others ) was very good.

We are vegetarians and saw a few things on the menu we could eat. The appetizers were all veggie based and we chose an eggplant appetizer that was enjoyable to eat. We both ordered the eggplant stew over rice and found this had a very nice flavor and enjoyed eating it. The coconut custard pie was wonderful, not full of fluff ingredients like pudding or whipped cream but just the great flavor of the coconut. We enjoyed, but given the food profile of the restaurant I would think they could offer a few more inventive veggie options. I'd go again though....
We were seated immediately for our reservation even though very crowded. Staff so pleasant and great service. Food delicious and their cranberry rice is not to be missed. Pistachio ice cream was not available this time so just have to go back!
Our waiter was awesome and served us efficiently so that we could make the Peace Center show! The food is always delicious, and yes, try the pomegranate martini because it is delicious!
Business meal with a couple from out of town, here in Greenville for the first time. They were overwhelmed at the cuisine!

First time experience. Food is absolutely amazing. Fresh ingredients of which many are local. Service was impeccable. Will visit again. Love the grape in the martini.
