Trendy with great vibe. The place is packed and mostly are young folks here. The food is great, wish the slider is boa instead of bun. Overall, everything is good.
Pains me to write this review as we have always had good experiences with Otto sushi. This time (Tuesday May 31, 2022) we got some bad salmon in our rolls. The fish tasted off and was brown and discolored as per the photo. When I brought it to the manager's (David) attention and requested the roll be removed from our bill he informed me "It's part of the salmon. We served it to the other group over there and they didn't say anything." I replied "I'm not them and what does that matter if they don't notice it? It's still obviously not fresh." He flatly said while he could take it off the bill he wasn't going to do so. I have mentioned this to my friends and students. I don't care about the $6. I do care about the food being served to us being fresh. I also care about good customer service when the product was obviously a potential health hazard. Don't take my word for it...see if that's raw fish you'd eat.
Worst salmon I’ve had. This place used to be fun, delicious, clean and had a fantastic atmosphere. Now it’s just a dump. Be careful what you order and stay clear or the sushi. Drinks are artificial syrups and if you sit at the bar bring a wet wipe to clean around you. Sparking wine was warm. The sauce on my salmon was terrible, the veggies were limp and old. Way to mess up a nice place.
The food was absolutely excellent. The vibes were immaculate. The service was great. They really use a lot of teamwork. The sushi was great. Very crispy. I love the interior design. Its luxurious but also very clean in general. 10/10 experience. I will definitely be back.
Delicious sushi, wings, dynamite mussels, sashimi is super fresh and service from Stephanie was Phenomenal. Highly recommended ?
We had an amazing time we sat at one of the high top bar tables and our waitress/bartender was Crystal and we were super impressed she was very efficient and made the best drinks
Food is DELICIOUS, the service is great, and the atmosphere is modern/upscale, but casual. It's bigger than you would think. The kitchen works quickly and the food comes out fast! We'll definitely be going back again.
First of all a shoutout to our server Brandon! He was amazing and made my wife and I first time experience an amazing one.Coming from Los Angeles we have been searching for a Japanese Izakaya (tapas aka small plates) restaurant in Greenville. And we are glad we have this restaurant a shot and we were not disappointed.The sushi and rolls were all amazing (super fresh and melts in your mouth). But the chicken yakitori was not impressive. The spicy pork belly tapas was so delicious (it’s not small but who cares it’s delicious).
We are regulars and love their sushi. Service is excellent. Last visit was on a Saturday evening and the restaurant was full however we still received our appetizer promptly and sushi within 20 minutes. Great experience.
Bartender Crystal was amazing. Sushi chef was friendly and food was amazing. The pork belly, omg!
