I ordered three of sushi and fried rice. The taste was really great. The three sushi had the exact flavors I wanted. The fried rice tasted completely different from the fried rice I had eaten before. I can guarantee it is the best.

A few years ago, a colleague and I ventured upon this place after a late night event. We walked right up to the doors, opened them and was greeted by a very rude hostess. After letting her know that we wanted seating for two, she was very short and retorted with, "The kitchen closes in 15 minutes, it might be closed now," and then turned us away. From that point forward, I vowed not to go into this establishment ever again. It just so happened that the other day, one of the restaurant heads contacted me to perform marriage service there. I found out then that it was under new ownership, and I was invited to come again to see what Otto Izakaya had to offer. Now, as a military kid, I lived in Japan for 3 years; not only was the food authentic, the atmosphere was lovely, the music at a proper level, very friendly staff, definitely not what I experienced those years ago when I came to just sit down and have something to eat after a very hectic day.Thank you so much Kim and staff for providing the experience I wanted and needed.

So we went for the 10:00 PM buy two, get one free deal. I think it's 10:00PM anyways, I can't find a specific time so take it from my friend. They had great, friendly servers there. The service was quick considering the backlog on sushi, and you can get about 10 shots from the hot sake.I'm always a fan of fried spicy tuna rolls, however, my two friends said that the geisha roll was their favorite. It's honestly more of whether you prefer a stronger or lighter flavor profile. The one big complaint is that they didn't give sufficient wasabi or ginger strips.

Loved the atmosphere and the food was even better! I was told due to short staffing the food came out slower than usual which it felt like it did but it was well worth the wait! Our server Stephanie was fantastic and we finished our night with a glass of sake. Definitely will be back again soon!

The best sushi I've ever had. This place is a must if you enjoy amazing food. We came here on recommendation of a friend and I don't think even his hype of the restaurant did it justice. The wait staff were very attentive and personable. When you go please try the veg roll to start off your meal. I can't wait to go back the next time I travel to Greenville.

This place has only improved over the years. The food quality is phenomenal and the chef's talent is top notch. Friendly and attentive staff, a nice intimate atmosphere, and amazing food. I consider this currently the best sushi restaurant in Greenville.

This place has gone down the tubes. Restaurant was pretty empty but food took well over an hour and half our order was missing/ forgotten. Waiter said “he didn’t know what happened” and comped us a bottle of sake as compensation. Had to stop and pick up something to eat on way home. Last time coming here.

Some of the best sushi I can remember eating in a while in Greenville. The waitress was very attentive. A simple improvement...it was so cold in the dining room. Maybe it is the concrete floors and brick walls...maybe they need to turn the heat up. But that undermined the experience overall. Highly recommend it otherwise. ?

By far one of the worst places I’ve been. The hostess seemed annoyed by our “big group” of 6 people. We were seated at the bar area and it took the waiter 30 minutes to take our drink order then another 20 for our food order, and still didn’t bring missing drinks to our table. Instead she took multiple shots with customers and employees behind the bar, played on her phone , and ignored us completely. She rarely checked on us , instead we had to get up and get our own utensils. She then proceeded to mix all of our checks up because she was drunk. Never going back.

Restaurant was not too busy yet too 40 minutes order drinks. Bartender was more worried about having her own shots with other staff members instead of helping customers. Once food order was finally taken she took about 20 minutes before putting it in. Had to get up multiple times to ask things like drink refills or forks.
