The food was delicious. What I don't have time for is misleading pricing. The website says one thing but my entire bill wound up 10 dollars higher, short 2 wings because they lessened it from 8 to 6 and up the price on the wings and the rice. The prices were already higher than normal so I thought we were good but apparently they have gone even higher.
We've just had our second experience at the Oriental House. I have to say both experiences were excellent. From Nick who is so very helpful at the register to Maggie who helped us out so much today. I feel the food is excellent and with me being gluten free they were very helpful and helping me pick out some excellent dishes. All of the people that work there are very friendly and very nice.
I am in a nursing home and ordered a hibachi vegetable dinner. My visitor stopped by to pick it up for me on the way from Spartanburg. When I received it, the vegetables were burnt and scorched. I called the restaurant to this to let them know. I was treated with disrespect by the owner. I was also told I had to bring the burnt vegetables back if I wanted a refund. I continued to tell her, repeatedly, that I was in a wheelchair in a nursing home and had no one to drive the vegetables back to the business. Very Poor Professionalism.
There food is sometimes good and sometimes not good…just all depends on the day I guess! Their prices are on high side, and I work down the road so we eat here often! Today I called to place an order for delivery of sesame chicken lunch special and the guy told me my total was $20 and some change!!! I said what???? I canceled the order because I refuse to pay over $20 for this food that’s not even all that great!! I understand prices have to increase some but OMG this is ridiculous!! I won’t be eating here anymore!!!
The food is always amazing! We normally pickup but we ordered delivery this time. Our order arrived much quicker than the estimated time and it was steaming hot. The entire experience was top notch. Thank you for always being great!
We have been customers of the Oriental House since they were just a little kiosk in the old Mall on woodruff road. As far as Chinese Curry they are the best, and will adjust the recipe suit you if you ask. I just like mine with carrots and onions so I have them leave out the broccoli and zucchini. Portion sizes are good, my husband either gets something off the hibachi grill or he likes that orange chicken. It's good to see them growing so well as they have now doubled the size of the restaurant from when they first moved in there.
Enjoyed a New Year’s Eve lunch at this location on New Year’s Eve. Excellent service and the food was amazing! Fresh ginger dressing for our salad will have us coming back for more. I highly recommend!
Tasty food however their combinations platters don't allow for anything but an egg fried rice. I was disappointed in that I couldn't have chicken or vegetable fried rice without having to order such fried rice as a separate entree.
On our to Charlotte from Atlanta, feeling hungry, we exited the road and started looking for just something to eat and haed back. We the Oriental House and entering, we were amazed by the tidiness. The service is excellent and the food tasty and well served
WHITE PEOPLE ONLY!! I came in for a dinner with my mom and little boy, we are Hispanic, they seated 3 parties who came after us (white costumers) I went and asked if we had to wait to be seated, they said yes, anyway they ask the other people who was coming in, we were INVISIBLE to them. Food has been good the few times I had order before, looking for new Asian restaurants who is friendly and welcomes all of their costuumers.
