My first time here and what a hidden gem of a restaurant! Delicious Southern BBQ with homemade sides, in an old but quaint building on the west side of Greenville. Fast and friendly service, and reasonable prices...but the food is the main attraction here. I tried the mac and cheese, baked beans, and potato salad...the latter being my favorite. Many more options and I'll be back soon to try a few more.
Listen, this was an amazing experience, the employees, the customers, the inside, the outside, the food was some of the best smoked goodness that ive ever had.You pull up and your taken back to a simpler time and then the smell hits ya, you know what your walking into. Its a beautiful step back in time when people talked to you and the the next thing ya know youve found out they moved down here after the twins were born and im taking all this in smiling ear to ear at this discovery of a amazing food spot that feels like home. Being a lover of smoked things ive tried em from all over the east coast, and a lifetime as a cook and restaurant manager this place is it.First thing i tastes was the green beans and you just know, yea… these folks got it.Mac and cheese, pulled pork, coleslaw. Oh!!! The bbq dog with chili and onions. That, that was insanely good. all the bbq sauces. Just outstanding!!!Cant wait to try the ribs, chicken, and everything else. I was in Greenville for a couple days, and I asked some locals if there was a good BBQ place in town. They recommended Mike & Jeff’s, and I was not disappointed. Kim was an excellent and super friendly server, smiling the whole time she was working. The pulled chicken plate was enormous, with two generous portions of sides for a very reasonable price. The mild bbq sauce is excellent, while the mustard sauce has a little zing to it but is good as well. I wish there was a BBQ place this good where I live. Kudos!
Home style cooking. Nothing fancy about the place or about the area, just old south cooking here. The service is home style and very friendly. The pork and sides were all delicious. The area is an old area but still safe. No complaints

One of the most overlooked restaurants in Greenville SC. Plates are full, BBQ is wonderful, and the price is reasonable. Small, outdated dining area, but if it is fancy dining that you are looking for, you are going for the wrong reason. BBQ is wonderful, and the small "down home feel" is actually welcome compared to the hustle and bustle that other dining area's offer. If it's BBQ that you want, ..... it's Mike & Jeff's that you need!
BBQ is great, but every time I order a fried side item (fries/rings) they're always under cooked and soggy. Take the extra 30 secs and finish them..
Mike & Jeff’s is always coming through with the best BBQ in the the State!Sweet Potato Soufflé is a must try. Great food, service, and people.
I love the food. But, the best is Granny, she made me feel like I was at home. You will never find a sweeter, more genuine woman on the earth. My mom passed away and Granny touched my heart. People and places like this are priceless.
