I haven't eaten here in a while but went there the other day. I was very impressed with my food and would totally eat here again! I was nothing but satisfied. Highly recommend any time.
We went here for dinner. They were short staffed so the service was not as fast as it has been in the past. Only half of the dining room was open for dine-in. The food service was very timely and the staff were friendly. Even with them being short staffed the food was good as always!
I eat McAlister's alot and this location was subpar on the day I went. First I arrived at waited at the register while several associates looked out the window, walked by the register, and never said anything to me. I ordered the spud max which comes with shredded cheese on the potato. They brought out my spud max with Rotel cheese on it. It was full of tomatoes, onions, and I couldn't even find the meat that was supposed to come with my potatoes. Not sure why Rotel would be on a spud as no sounds on the menu call for Rotel. Prob will skip this location in the future
Placed an order online that included 2 meals, 2 cookies, and 2 drinks. When I picked up the order there were no cookies in the bag and the drinks were in much smaller cups than their usual ones. I asked the manager if they had changed their cups and he stated “yea” and promptly walked off although everyone dining in had the usual much larger cups. Another employee stated they were out of the lids for the usual cups so that’s why I was given those. There was no urgency in providing me the missing cookies, which were hard when I revived them. The manager is terrible and of no assistance to anyone.
This is a horrible McAlister's and I will never go again. They constantly get your order wrong and yell at you that they did not. And today they took half our parties order and then told the rest of us they were closed. Took forever to get them to say they would cancel the order which they have not yet and the manager was very rude and unapologetic. I am done with this McAlister's
Good food and great customer service. Arrived right before closing, and the manager (cute, young African American woman) let me in & willingly took my order, with no complaints.
Lunch at McAlisters today. 230pm late lunch. Had a very hard time finding a clean table. We finally settled for one with just a few crumbs on it. Most of the tables were not bussed. Lady taking our order was very nice and very helpful. The tension behind the counter was thick. The energy was off. The wait for our food was about 20 min. My daughter and I got salads. They didn't come with dressing we ordered. I went back up to ask for our dressing and was giving attitude about it. You could tell he was having a bad day. The front of the kitchen and rear of the kitchen were at odds with each other. You could tell by the looks that were given. Not sure I would eat at this location on Congareee again.
the best. In SC anyway. taste like New York deli. big fat juicy hearty sandwiches. with a side and yummy pickle. thanks. love my points. ha.
Went there at around 8:15pm and was rudely told that while the hours on the internet and on the door stated that they were open until 9pm, that they now stopped dine in at 8:00. I was told that I could order a take out order and my son and I could eat it in the car. Nowhere are these new hours mentioned online so someone will know that before driving all the way to the restaurant only to be turned away. I have been eating at McAlister's for years and will never go to this one again.
The workers could not care less about what they were doing. The place was FILTHY. Do not eat at this McAlister's.
