The service was quick and friendly, I was able to park right in front of the restaurant, and we were seated outside. I really want to give under 4 stars but they don’t deserve a flat 3.The pulled pork nachos appetizer, although really tasty, was not either portioned enough (speaking about the pork) for two people or enough to support the $13 price tag.The small size of the pulled pork sandwich entree was really good but my issue was with the half cooked/half soggy sweet potato fries. To try and get the attention of your server on a Saturday lunch rush while sitting outside withheld me to get up and ask to reheat fries.
Have been coming to Mac’s for years, but today’s experience was the best! The burnt ends were on point!!! Beer buckets were iced cold (lots of ice). New item on the menu, fried okra, was fresh batch and awesome! They have new GM and kitchen manager and they did not disappoint!!! Cannot forget to give kiddos for the service. It was amazing, Liz thank you for the great customer service! Will be coming back more frequently ?
Came into Mac’s Speed shop like normally, but the thing that wasn’t “NORMAL” was the service and food as it was Phenomenal! Liz our server greeted us with a smile and Tended to us like we were the only people in the restaurant. When our food came out I knew something changed!! It was AMAZINGLY fresh and totally enjoyable!! We asked for the GM to share our experience and Steven came and we told him how great everything was. Then the kitchen Manager John came out and we recognized him and he praised his staff!! Today was a great surprise!!!
Here, they got delicious BBQ and brisket they previously smoke up to 12-24 hrs depending on the meat. It's a great alternative if a cookout didn't go as planned, maybe to take for a picnic, or simply just to stay and enjoy whether it be their outdoor picnic-style tables or indoor where it's heavily themed. They have both booths and tables. They provide beers, specials on Sundays include Bloody Marys and mimosas. They also provide other selections. Just note, it could get windy sitting at the outdoor table so you'll have to anchor down any napkins, (they provide paper towels on the tables for napkins)menus, anything light. When it was cool the other day they provided heat from the heater lined above the entire outdoor section. There's also TVs outside. Every now and then, there will be a game playing on them. The brisket I ordered here was $26 dollars but it's worth it. They serve about 5 strips of brisket on a plate with choice of two sides and the brisket just falls apart it is really good.
Fun place with delicious food! Dry rub wings and beef brisket ends are a must try! If the weather is nice then sit outside!

The smoked wings, mac & Cheese and burnt ends were ALL fantastic! The service was quick and very friendly! We will definitely be back!
So I don’t expect service to be good anywhere considering the state of our country so I’ll just disregard that the service was nothing short of horrible. The food on the other hand was my biggest disappointment the brisket was dry, the sauces they had were that of flavored water and the green bean casserole was straight out of a can. My fiancé ordered a half chicken and got a quesadilla LOL !!!!Never got any refills on our drinks. Took 15 minutes to even get a server to take our order and that was only because we had to get the hostess to find the guy who was definitely not functioning on all cylinders. This place was by far the worst restaurant I’ve been in this year definitely could use some attention
Listen the service here is great but i know a rat when I see one and the wings I ordered did not taste anything like chicken. One thing about a rat is they will always snitch on themselves and these wings for sure told me that no one should be spending $2 per a wing on whatever genetically modified meat specimen this is. I am sure other things are fantastic and I just can not recommend anyone eat these wings no matter what sauce you order.
Used to be a great place to eat. Food is now mediocre and service is pathetic. Waited 5+ minutes for a server to greet us while we watched the staff congregate around the kitchen area. It was a rainy Sunday with maybe 12 other customers across 4 tables. Just pathetic when there are so many competitive options all over the place. We walked across the street to Vida Villa Mexican Grill which always serves amazing food and service is spot on. Step it up Mac’s.
